So *usually* I like to write these update emails after Jennie and I have a weekly check in on stuff. Problem is we're not really doing the weekly check in because SO MUCH MARCH IS HAPPENING. SXSW, the Buzz out Loud Reunion, Social World for me in San Diego plus Jennie flying out to New York for a family thing. It's crazy. So here are some tidbits. Buzz Out Loud Reunion is March 29th at 12:30 Pacific time. It will be streamed in some fashion on Alpha Geek Radio and Diamondclub.tv. If you don't know Buzz Out Loud it was the first podcast I did with Molly Wood and Veronica Belmont back. It premiered on March 30, 2005. Oh and if you're in the bay area and can't make the BOL thing, Sword and Laser is having a meetup at Borderlands books Monday evening. Day off (sort of). Michael Wolf asked me to be on a panel about podcasting at Social Marketing World in San Diego Thursday March 26. http://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/smmworld/ At first I was going to do my panel from down there but it became tricky and it was looking like I might have to rely on hotel bandwidth. SO, instead I'm using this as an excuse to make a test run at fill-in hosting. Justin Young will take the helm for that show. I think Jennie has a guest lined up too but it hasn't been nailed down yet. I will be very pleased to see April when the schedule is filled with NEWS! April 10 is preorders for the Apple Watch. April 12 is the premiere of Game of Thrones and allegedly HBO Now will debut before then. And April 24 the Apple Watch ships. And that's just the huge stuff.
