DTNS prepares for December

Hey all, Time for another weekly Wednesday update to give you an advanced look at what’s coming up for us on DTNS. As always HUGE THANKS for your continuing support of the show. HOLIDAY EPS. The week between Christmas and New Years is always a dead zone for tech news, so in the fine tradition of Buzz Out Loud and Tech News Today seasons past, DTNS will take the week off, but fill the week with special episodes. We’ll pre-record those eps ahead of time. Of course the one lots of you have already been asking for is a best of. Thanks to everybody who have suggested moments from throughout the year to include. Jennie and our secret ninja editor are busy combing through those now. HOWEVER. We need more! We on’t be publicizing these elsewhere (except for the one) so do with this information what you will. It’s actually not a big secret but we wanted y’all to be the first to know. Here’s what we know so far: ***Predictions Results show! ***Dec. 17 at 6:30 Eastern/3:30 Pacific Iyaz Akhtar will join me to go over our predictions from last year’s TNT Predictions show. ***Listener Co-Host Show! ***Dec. 11 12 Eastern/9 AM Pacific A few (probably three?) people from the audience will come on the hangout and talk tech. We’ll make the announcement for everyone next week, but here’s the scoop. If you’d like to be considered send an email to feedback@dailytechnewsshow.com with the Subject line “Listener Guest”. Confirm that you’ll be available at 9 AM Pacific December 11 and then tell us why you should be picked. ***New in 2014 ***Day/Time TBD A look back at what was new last year. Kind of a spin on the year in review, without getting bogged down in the same old repeating stories. Like phones. PROGRAMMING NOTE November 27 is the Thanksgiving Holiday in the US which means no show that day or the Friday after. It’s one of the few times of the year that this country takes two days off in a row. It’s also nightmare on the roads so I’ll be doing the show at 9AM Pacific Wednesday 11/26. There will be no shows on 11/27 or 11/28 though I may toss out some headlines. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
