Jennie and I talked today about having this Q&A and we're going to chat tomorrow after the show about what exactly to talk about but here are some of the things we'll be discussing. -The no ad milestone. SO close. If (when) we hit this milestone, the only ad you will ever hear In the show will be to thank patrons or mention one of my own books or something. Essentially it will be SELF-sponsored. To me this is better than sponsors because I can still make real picks like I have done recently, btu then if you want to respond to an advertiser to support the show, you can respond to something I'M doing, which means no middleman takes a cut. - The Video milestone. Believe me, Jennie's got loads of ideas for this and so do I. To get there we're going to need a lot of momentum. In that regard, we're talking about some more reward levels to thank people who have been upping their monthly. One thing we'll probably ask is for idea on what would be good rewards for that! - Guests! We're going to try to book bigger and better guests while still bringing back the folks we know you love. So we'll have some thoughts on that and can't wait to hear yours. All right that's all I've got for now. More soon! Tom

The no-ad milestone is definitely the most important milestone for this show. I think most people would agree hearing Tom's or the guest's personal pick is actually very interesting. Having no sponsor would mean the pick of the day stay true as it is. Without any influence from 3rd party.

2014-03-14 02:39:28 +0000 UTCThanks! The reason I've resisted an official video feed is I don't want to do it in a way that slows anything down. The audio episode should still post in a few minutes and the YT video should still autopost immediately. We want to have a nice clean separate way to roll in video and such live so there's little if any editing to do before the on-demand video posts.
