Another fun fact for you since you mentioned the "dramatic music", the OST is all original songs composed for the series and they are sung by the 2 CP actors themselves (their grup name is Desire 4 and debued at the TMAs last year), particularly by Hua Yong's actor who is also a singer, dancer and fine arts graduate. Also the female voice in the intro is one of the NongJian twin sisters singing ( the dual directors/writers/producers) and no, they didn't cast themselves as extras 🤭in the series but they were both there on set as dual directors for all of it obviously, so they didn't need to. 😉

Also, Manley said in the first episode that Mr Sheng will def get pregnant and Em said in this episode that Hua Yong will def get pregnant. 🤭 It will be fun to see which one of you is right or if you are both wrong. 🤭 (PS, hope I got your names right 😁).

Sure, the producers have money, but they probably don’t want to spend ALL of it on this project. The twin sisters who produced the show also wrote the novel, BTW.
