Conversions, Merch, oh my! BTS #68

A little bit ago, I mentioned that my wife and I were going to start fulfilling the miniac merch again v.s. using something like teespring/red bubble. That way you can sell whatever you want, and also moderate the quality of the products better. We're a little behind schedule because the people we used to make enamel pins are getting hung up by the corona virus, but over here at miniac HQ, we're trying to make the most of our time.
We got a few shelves set up and my wife organized all the merch by type and size so when the store launches we'll be ready to go. We also went out to Uline and picked up a bunch of shipping materials for all the various items. We're pumped!
On the hobby side of the business, I decided it was time to start working on my own personal AoS army, which starts with a sick kitbash that I'm have a LOT of fun working on.
This is one of the more conversion heavy examples that I'm working on. This model will end up being my Kastellan of the Blood Knights, or the leader of the unit. She's female, which I'm super pumped about because you never see female Blood Knights but they exist in the lore. The lower half is Cold One Knights, the upper half and shoulder pad is Melusai, the shield is a grave guard upgrade sprue, the head is from the Coven Throne kit, and the helmet is a Black Knight helmet that I hollowed out. The next steps once the green stuff dries is to start working on various armor elements and chainmail to help the various parts flow together nicely. I'm excited about it so far!!
