This past week has been action packed. It started out with working on the video that's coming out this Friday, about coming up with a paint scheme for an army. This was a topic voted on by our Dark Wizard patrons and I'm happy to finish it. Here were the 3 test models I worked on to refine the scheme for batch painting:
After that, it was on to the next video which I decided was going to be another goofy skit. If you've ever seen the miniature hacks video I did, this is part #2. It's coming out for early release this Friday! Hopefully this sells if for you ;)
Next up, I got back in contact with Tatiana Vetrovna to do another concept art for my upcoming Swamp elves. This is the first revision she sent back to me:
There are elements from both elves that I like. I had this idea that he would have recently decapitated an invading wood elf. The story I want is that he was sent to the swamp as punishment and he's very bitter about it. I think he needs a bow and quiver somewhere, and a different set of antlers, possibly a little bit smaller. I've been mulling this over for a few days now before I send my response.
Lastly, I started to work on a commission that I've had for a while. Should finish it up pretty soon. It's a 3D printed bust! Working on some textures for his blue jacket.

I like the antlers but something more spikey like his personality (if he's bitter he's gonna be prickley) along the lines of, but not as OTT as, kate blanchet, the goddess of death, in THOR RAGNOROK. I don't like him looking down as that suggests rumination or reflection and also a lack of alertness, if he's looking down i would think it's cos of swagger so straddling a dead body or chillin' against a trunk as he sharpens a blade. If he's crouched then he's battle ready. he want more blood. Knives out for next kill.
