A new patreon reward
Added 2019-09-09 15:00:03 +0000 UTCI'm thinking about adding a reward that goes something like this: "Once a month, one of my Friday videos will be a patreon suggested one which will be about a topic that you guys pick for me and vote on each month. I'll take 4-5 of the suggestions and toss a poll on my patreon."
I like this, because it gives me a regular opportunity to have a video free of sponsors that I can shout patrons out on, and also I can just not worry about whether or not "it'll work well on youtube" because it's just for you guys. What do you think?

2019-09-13 01:03:38 +0000 UTCA normal video about mini painting but 100% more sexiness. Guaranteed success.
2019-09-10 12:42:21 +0000 UTCI'm wracking my brain to remember the super glue windy dune and I can't remember which video it was. Do you know?
2019-09-10 10:11:51 +0000 UTCHi Scott, great idea! In the spirit of your recent basing videos I still have an older question following the topics on the discord: maybe you could go a little bit more into detail with the "starting-steps" of basing or with a guide for a "more basic" base. in the past you've shown pictures of bases with awesome textures simply created with superglue (and/or combination of superglue + white glue (wood glue?) and just a VERY few of little stands and/or sand... Of cause those bases are not as "fancy" and "outstanding" as the ones from the last videos... but while basing and painting whole boardgames (or in your case an army) we often need more "simplistic" (and quciker to make) bases. I escpecially remember one of your bases that looks like a "windy dune" with that crusty (not crackle!) texture, which was NOT a GW-texture-paint, but you said it was "just superglue".
2019-09-10 08:26:43 +0000 UTCSounds great.
2019-09-10 06:12:06 +0000 UTCHi Scott. I love the idea. This sound cool for us.
2019-09-09 21:11:02 +0000 UTCHey Johnathan. Miniature photography is a subject I cover in detail on my channel. Check out this playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJ94-fHMfAt1yQfGbeMQqOAS7c59mbiYt
2019-09-09 18:13:44 +0000 UTCHi Scott - I love this idea! One suggested topic: show how to take great shots of your minis - after I spend a ton of time on mine, they come out looking horrible. If folks have only a smart-phone to use, do you have any recommendations?
2019-09-09 18:11:35 +0000 UTCGreat idea!
2019-09-09 17:26:32 +0000 UTCI love this idea!
2019-09-09 17:14:00 +0000 UTCI like it :)
2019-09-09 16:33:49 +0000 UTCPaint some AoS models like Ironjawz or Seraphon. Don't like AoS? Paint some Warhammer fantasy like Black Orcs and Lizardmen. 🤣
2019-09-09 15:26:14 +0000 UTCSounds fantastic!

2019-09-09 15:22:49 +0000 UTCLove it. How about a video on your dogs... biased and I'm ok with that.
2019-09-09 15:14:15 +0000 UTCPass me some plastic crack under the table nam sayn
2019-09-09 15:12:52 +0000 UTCIt's up to you guys!
2019-09-09 15:12:20 +0000 UTCDo a video on, "Is all plastic equal". It seems to me that the plastic from Games workshop minis is different than the plastic used for Fantasy Flight minis. Don't even get me started on Reaper Bones... Different prep technics for each type of plastic. when I clean mold lines on GW mini I can't use the same technic on FF mini. I guess you could add metal minis in the mix also. just an idea

2019-09-09 15:11:55 +0000 UTCHonestly, anything. It's up to what you guys want.

2019-09-09 15:08:17 +0000 UTCGreat idea, how do I rig the votes?
2019-09-09 15:06:41 +0000 UTCExcellent idea. Incorporating patreon members into your decision making will mean a lot to your members. It's the best way for leaders to get "buy in" when team building.

2019-09-09 15:06:31 +0000 UTCDo it
2019-09-09 15:04:58 +0000 UTCThis sounds awesome! Also curious how specific you will want to go with these.
2019-09-09 15:04:19 +0000 UTCI like this idea a lot! Not sure about everyone but there's a lot of mini types/styles I'd love to see you paint!
2019-09-09 15:03:30 +0000 UTCSounds like fun, are you thinking broad suggestions or really specific? So "paint a face please" vs "how do you paint a hard piece of snot on this KD models nose"
2019-09-09 15:02:33 +0000 UTCAwesome. Do it.

2019-09-09 15:02:18 +0000 UTCSounds like a good plan.
