I didn't make a BTS post last week because it was pretty simple. I painted a Warcry figure for this Friday's release and then I went to NYC to visit my sister with my wife.
Here's Amber and I in NYC.
When we came back, however, some fun stuff started to happen.
I had jonny-boi over and we recorded two episodes of the podcast and we're going to record more next week. We'd like to publish the podcast with 2 episodes fully available and 1 on deck. Here's a shot of the main camera's POV. We're using the Miniac set for now but are looking to use a different one entirely down the road.
For this week's early release I'm hopelessly trying to finish a commission for a video but I don't think I'm going to make it. I started later on it because I edited a full episode of the podcast.
In this picture I have the left sleeve done except for the weathering that will come.
I'm honestly feeling burnt out which probably sounds stupid. In the video I made about going full time I said something like "give me 2 months to come online" meaning I'll reach my peak video quality which has not been the case. A combination of real life events and harder to make videos than I thought has slowed down my ability to work on the infrastructure of my channel at all and it's been a real mental barrier. I feel like I need to just take 2 weeks off of the video schedule and just work on these things without the fear of missing a release looming over me, but I don't know.
