What videos should I make?

Hey guys, I'm curious if any of you guys have had a subject that you've wanted me to cover for a long time that I've never gotten to. Let me know what it is!

Comments

That sounds torturous!

The Sharpie Technique, but maybe do a 'Evy Metal style in Sharpie

How to paint lighting from different coloured sources to the mini, like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8utzoEQgA4 but on a mini

Textures - painted and simulated. Like how to get a clean, flat surface to look like wool, leather, silk. And what texture paints and tricks can help with that (sponge, stippling, "real" texture [from texture paints or created with glue etc])

A tutorial on painting power weapons and the different types of effects you can do. Power swords and lightning claws

An in depth guide to painting additives would be pretty nifty. What's a thinner, flow improver, retarder, medium and their intended vs. potential uses

Have you done a video on how to go about painting your mini after you've pre shaded it? (Zenithal highlight stuff) or have I just missed this?

They're not practiced at all! I could look into it!

How are your loaded brush skills? That's a subject that I think would benefit a lot of people--I'm terrible at it! :-)

1. color theory / color combination. 2. create textures as fabric, lether, worn out iron. using speckling and other painting techniques 3. trying out a wide variety of paints and the pros and cons... vm, scale75, golden, liquitex, winsor newton, jo sonjas, citadel etc. 4. when to use washes, glazes, different mediums.. 5. something that you would like show but has nothing to do with mini painting :D

Sergio Martinez Jr.

Your take on Custodes.

Have you seen the brush maintenance video?

Brush selection and maintenance. How do you choose what brushes to use for what application and how do you keep them in good shape? when do you stop using a brush? etc

As I mentioned in discord channel some help with paint types would be good. Maybe even as generic as what makes a paint good paint.

Well, I know you've released a shading video before, but perhaps a similar/advanced one? I find myself having trouble getting my washes and shading looking right still.
