Interaction
Added 2018-05-01 17:10:08 +0000 UTCI got some good feedback from someone on patreon recently that I don't interact with my patrons enough. I hadn't stopped to think that patreon, in and of itself, is sort of like a social media platform in that people on the platform don't like to go other places (like discord). I do the majority of my interaction on discord and not very much on patreon. What would you guys like to see on my patreon page? I could post my WIPs of minis that I post on instagram/facebook, cute pictures of my dogs, any other ideas? Just getting the juices flowing!

Interesting thought... I think it would be fun to see WIP. I know we can see that on discord, but it gets lost in the feed sometimes.

2018-05-02 09:57:14 +0000 UTCI might be an oulier here but I do not look for engagement on Patreon, mainly since I do not use it activly. What I mean by this is that I find people on Youtube, decide that I like what they do and that I should support them to keep them active on Youtube. So activity from your side elsewhere (e.g. Twitch seems to be a big thing currently) will not be noticed by me. So in short maybe put up a small pole to find out where your patreons expect to see/read from you and then go from there

2018-05-02 00:18:18 +0000 UTCWhile I use Discord...I don't really USE it much, beyond voicechat for gaming...so if there's more to it for the social media element, it's wasted on me. I do typically have Youtube and sometimes Patreon open at work, so it's easier for me to follow along on those platforms. Ultimately, I wouldn't ask you to split up your focus among every and all options (especially at the expense of content quality...or your sanity) and tbh it seems like we get responses here when posts warrant it... Like making Dennis feel special...:D
