Regardless of your feelings on the saviors, Rick and co killed 30 men in their sleep, so Negan kills one of theirs as punishment and then only kills one more after being attacked by Daryl. Even if the Saviors are assholes, that's a pretty light punishment. I get that it was Glenn and Abe (my 2 faves) and that affects a lot of people's view on the matter, but Rick got off easy. Then Negan finds out it was Rick's group who killed Little Timmy and The Dick Brigade and he did nothing. Carl shoots some men down and he does nothing but try to scare him. The only person he kills is Spencer who tried to usurp Rick. Olivia died as a result of his head almost getting blown off. Again, regardless of how the Saviors are, Negan has been way more than reasonable. He doesn't even try to kill Sasha after she took out who knows how many men! He just wants her to join!

2020-03-10 16:48:50 +0000 UTCIt’s fascinating going back on this season with you guys. This episode is an interesting comparison of Saviours to Alexandria for me. Negan and his gang are undoubtably awful people, who did dreadful things, but if you’re Oceanside then Alexandria storming in, getting you all on your knees and saying we need what you’ve got feels very similar. I do like the idea that would we really see Team Rick as the good guys if we hadn’t followed them all this way? I mean they did murder 30 ish people by killing them in their sleep. Sure, the Saviours are clearly horrible (or some are), but they didn’t know much by then.
