I am coning super late to this so my comment is basically irrelevant, but I thonk there are 3 contributing factors to your confusion throughout this movie. One, like others have said is that some things mentioned in earlier movies are explained in later movies. Another factor is that the movies botched the books severely. And finally, I know this is a reaction and honestly so far you are better reactors that a lot of other people, but some things you guys had questions about were explained thoroughly in this movie but yall were talking over all the explanations.

2021-05-17 05:19:14 +0000 UTCI loved your reaction and theories for this movie. I agree with you how confusing it could be, for someone who hasn't read the books. While this film had a lot a Epic moments it also fell flat in explaining things. I wished they havent left out some things from the book and the Diary will be explained. This series has 8 movies and your on the 2nd, please give it time. Also the next movie will have a different direction(I think) so it's also a different feel from the other 2 movies. Like everybody else by the end of the series you'll have a favorite, and This one is not one of my favorites. I enjoyed it watching it, but I guess I like reading it more hahah. I Think you will enjoy the next movie more.
