Poll Winner & Plan etc. (November 2025)

Eva from Metal Gear Solid Delta narrowly won the poll

...But here's the thing, I planned to pick only one winner from the poll (as usual) because I want to do a personal project (as usual). However I'm unable to find the base model for the character I want. Now I can just pick another character in my personal project list but since the top two in the poll were very close, I think why not granting the top two poll winner like I did few months ago

So yeah, the 2nd winner C.Viper will also get her turn this month (again, this was unplanned). The order will be Eva as first release, then C.Viper, then commissioned project (as usual).

Now you can skip this part but speaking of not finding the model I want, that's one reason I sometimes unable to take recommendation or even rejecting commission. Or like in Eva's case, quite slow to add characters to poll list. Ideally I need more than one model from different porters so I can compare between them and pick the best or even merge them for the best result. But I feel like there's less people doing that nowadays, which means I may have to wait for a while for models from recently released games.

And you may ask why not extracting the model myself, well I actually do that sometimes. For characters from Yakuza games I extract them from game files myself since I know how and have the tools and more importantly own the games. But the process is different for each game or engine so I can't possibly do that every time. For Midadol from Final Fantasy XVI for example, while I do own the game I have to look for multiple separate tools for extraction and conversion, learning how to use them (I had to relearn using command lines for one of them), and checking the documentation (if there's any) until I get some workable result.

So yeah, that's behind the scene stuff if anyone curious. But it's all part of the process and I promise I'll do what I can with whatever resources available. That's about it, as usual thank you all for your support.
