Yeah, Walt indirectly caused Jane's death. When he returned to Jesse's place, notice he accidentally knocked Jane on her back when he was trying to wake up Jesse. They were both on their sides at first. The reason Walt decided not to do anything, after mulling it over while Jane was choking, was because he realized that as long as she was alive, Jesse would continue to do drugs with her. Also, with all the information she had on him, who's to say that in a year or so, after they blew through all that money, they wouldn't return to New Mexico and try to blackmail him for more money? She was a liability. We will see the ramifications of Walt's decision to NOT help very soon though.

That's my story at the end. I too got shivers hearing my words read back to me. Like I said, she's due to be released any day now. She completed treatment in prison (her 8th total time and 3rd after her overdose in March 2017) and will be free after a judge signs off on her release (which I believe he or she has to approve it). She will not be allowed to be the only adult around the children, but will be allowed to be there with her parents (kids' grandparents) 1-2 weekends per month. Sadly, all it takes is one sympathetic judge to change things.
If anyone has any questions or comments, I'm happy to address them here, on Discord, or YouTube when it drops tomorrow.
