I like how you were wondering about quiver and they define it for you right away; that was nice of them. 1979 was a great year. Though I only remember 41 days of it. :) One of my biggest fears as a parent is seeing them grow up in a digital world where people can bully anonymously and instantly spread it to the whole school/community. I thought Demetri was smelling himself to see if he was stinky as opposed to smelling Sam's scent after she touched him. The moments between Sam and Miguel in this episode are very nice. I am a bit of a sucker for seeing the beginnings of a couple falling in love. Johnny was certainly being an asshole to Eli (lip), but he does have a good point. If you let your insecure features define you, that will certainly be a target for being picked on or bullied. The depth of Johnny's backstory is wonderful. We had so many assumptions about him from the original movie that are now totally different. It's interesting to rewatch the movie after seeing this. And just like that, "Hawk" flips the script and is reborn full of confidence.
