My interpretation of this episode are sort of tied into my theories about time (I have 2 Phd's in mathematics, and have worked on time a lot over the years). So.....Very short description of how I think George r.r. is saying time works in GoT. I think time is fixed in GoT. "The ink on the page is dry", Bran can't alter the past, because everything from the beginning of universe till the end of the universe has already happened. So, if Bran goes back and does something, then he has always gone back and done that thing. There is no "paradox", it's just the way it always was. So, with that in mind, Hodor. I don't know if I buy the whole "he experienced his own death, so he got messed up" thing....I mean, yeah, that'd mess you up. But would it make it so that you could only say the last thing you heard? I doubt it, that isn't a symptom of PTSD. More likely, Bran warging into Hodor through Willis just messed up Willis' mind. There was a link of some kind between Hodor and Willis (as he heard "HOLD THE DOOR"), but it was the act of warging into Willis while in the past that messed up Hodor. There is no way to how strong the link was, did Willis feel/hear/see everything, or just heard it like Bran could vaguely hear stuff while he was in the past? I'd like to think that Willis suffered massive brain trauma from the warging, heard some shouts, and in his injured state something clicked in his mind and he just kept repeating the shout for the rest of his life. That seems nicer to me than actually experiencing his own death, but unless we somehow get a Willis POV chapter in the book (or a flashback in the show where we see what Willis saw/heard/felt) there's no way to be sure...

It will be up first thing in the morning on YouTube, but you can put it here or on YouTube, whichever one you want :)

Do you want our interpretation of this episode put here, on YouTube, or both? If you do want it on YouTube, when will you be uploading it there?
