These 2 songs hold up even now. But GEM's entire discography can be a bit bumpy. Before she became the type of artist successful enough to have full freedom, she was grinding it out on the pop star ladder An aspiring pop star has to release a certain number of songs each year, and they need to adhere to the current popular sound to get chart rankings, so, naturally, some of the songs will sound dated & uninspired now, especially if you don't get the benefit of nostalgia Hopefully, someone is feeding you a good list of songs to react to. You have covered many of the better ones already though I think she has confirmed Hong Kong concert dates next year that you can try? It will be a mad rush to get tickets though
