Thoughts from Last Night!
Added 2024-10-12 10:11:38 +0000 UTCOk so still processing the last two days of concerts… McFLY and ONE OK ROCK! And I’m going to do a livestream recap of both of them for sure BUT something Taka said last night is stuck in my head!
He was talking about when he told his old label he wanted to take on the world market, and as a Japanese band, the label told him No, that it was impossible! To which he said “F*** You!, those are YOUR LIMITS, Not Mine!”
There is no telling how many times in my life I’ve experienced someone telling me not to do something or that I couldn’t, but I pushed on, in hopes of proving them wrong, and in a ton of cases I did just that! Infact everyone reading this right now has not only helped me personally prove those people wrong, but I’m literally writing this message on an app most of those same naysayers told me “I won’t start a Patreon”
My point in telling you all of this is, don’t allow others to extinguish your flame! You have a purpose in this life and often times it’s something others aren’t able or willing to understand. Keep that drive! And know that when someone tells you your dream is impossible, that’s just them thinking they can’t do it! Don’t let their doubts become yours! Live the life you were meant to!
I for one am rooting for you!

2024-10-12 22:23:02 +0000 UTCI can just hear Taka saying "those are your limits, not mine." And he has proved them wrong considering how well they are doing on their worldwide tour. I wish Fueled by Ramen would do more to promote them because I don't think they are aware as to how popular One OK Rock is worldwide. From their beginning Taka has forged forward and pursued his dream and he is not finished yet. I really would like to see them get a grammy some day.

2024-10-12 19:04:02 +0000 UTCDo you notice delusional song got better every time.. like taka vocal starting to adapt with the song in live..perfect from beginning to the end.. it’s not he didn’t before but compare to Japan and London today I think London was better.. he hit every note perfect.. and it’s funny when tomoya kinda give a hint “I love ed sheren” lol.. and surprised ed show up😂
