( EARLY ACCESS ) FULL UN-EDITED HOBIPALOOZA REACTION!!!

For Real, 1 1/2 hours of me getting my mind blown!!!!
This was amazing! Really Hope JHope will do more solo shows like this!

( EARLY ACCESS ) FULL UN-EDITED HOBIPALOOZA REACTION!!!

Comments

Finally, regarding the tour J-hope referred to for Trivia: Let's Dance. I didn't get to see the Chicago show but I did go to the show in Newark NJ a week later. It was at the beginning of my BTS journey. I didn't know much about them except that there was a lot of buzz and I thought it would be cool to see them before they blew up even bigger. They blew my mind. I'm an old Pink Floyd fan and their show was just as epic. It started with enormous inflatable jaguars during Dionysus, then V appearing on stage laying in a huge bed :-) Jimin appeared for his solo in a snow globe. Jungkook flew across the stadium and sang his heart out above our heads. The whole thing ended with the BTS members singing to Anpanman while a huge inflatable bouncy house sprung up from under the stage and the members were sliding down slides and bouncing to the beat. All this with fireworks, confetti cannons, and bluetooth activated light sticks. Along with the theatrics, each of the members took time to talk to the audience and tell us how they were experiencing the show. It was simultaneously a monumental production and an intimate conversation. I was hooked.

The song, Ego, is from Map of the Soul 7. I'm realizing that you have never listened to that album from start to finish. It is really interesting to listen to it now, knowing that BTS planned it as their last group album before taking a break. The three rappers have the Intro, Interlude and Outro on the album. RM's Persona starts it out by introducing the theme of persona, aka the different selves that everybody has. Then Suga expands on the theme with Shadow which I just realized you have never seen. OMG. You absolutely HAVE to watch the video. It was stunning -- first song dropped from the MOTS 7 album. It looks at the dark side of the different selves Suga has. And then the theme is completed with Ego where J-hope sings about accepting the different parts of himself and that they are integrated as part of his journey. I know J-hope wrote lots of Jack in the Box during the summer 2020 when they were supposed to be touring and I think he did it expecting his solo project would come out Suga's solo project D-2 which I also think was planned to come out after/during the world tour that they planned for MOTS 7.. But as the pandemic raged on plans changed etc. Suga's project came out anyway but J-hope's got delayed with the success of Dynamite and Butter.

Fran G

J-hope's performance at Lollapalooza was one of the best concert sets I have ever seen in my life. I knew he was talented, but I was transfixed and mesmerized. I had considered going to Chicago but I was still broke from going to LA to see BTS last fall and it was hot and crowded (and I'm a 57 year old woman for goodness sake!) But I really wish that I had gone. I wish he would tour with it too but I think it took so much out of him, physically, that he couldn't do it repeatedly.

Fran G

Awww thank you, that was very nice of you, again, Thank You🤗

Irene (DragonsWrathxxx)

Thank you for a great reaction!💜 J-hope was my bias since the very first day I became army. Dunno why, he just caught my attention and since then I have never looked away. He is talented, hardworking, he has so bright and heartwarming personality, I just love him. And I am so so sooooo proud of him!🥺 From the person who barely got letters from fans to a Performer whose name is chanted by a crowd of thousands of people. And most of those people are not even speak Korean! But they were obsessed, so am I. His stage presence is insane, he is one of the best performers ever, for my opinion. I had to wake up at 4 a.m to watch Lollapalooza, but it was totally worth it❤️

Irene Kallahan

Such a cool reaction. So much time passed and I STILL watch Lola and the REActions to it. It was such a proud time for me having him as my bias for ages. I always wished for him to try going solo one day and prove to himself he is a full package. He outdid himself here. I am sure it was just a start and though he was crazy nervous before it (which is understandable) , it was one of his wishes for a long time already. Here he just proved that he could handle the show alone by himself perfectly fine. I am sure they all come back as individual performers when the time comes. They just need to create their own music for it and get ready but we will see if I am right. I can’t wait to see his solo concert one day. Just hope he comes to the country where I live. Such a performer can’t stop halfway and I am sure the best is yet to come))) As for CNS story… he and Becky learnt to dance to this song when being young and then JHope bought the rights and created the video together with her in honour to their dance evolution… He covered all the costs so that this project had a chance.

You should definetily watch the jhope vlive after the lollapalooza, should find it when you write jhope vlive lollapalooza. I have never seen hobi so happy and the way you can see how amazed Jimin was and how lovely their relationship and respect for each other is it will make you happy!

Firebabyey

All 7 of them are “Born Singers”. They are made for the stage in every way. This is absolutely where they belong. The experience they give us each and every time they step on stage is extraordinary! And they absolutely can change the world. We all just have to get on the ride and help them do it. #borahae #ApoBangpo 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜+💜

Shannon Harden

seriously I dont blame you! and that is so interesting about the crowd there, I bet that night Jhope brought in a TON of new ARMY and I love that they were able to experience it!

John Reaves

Ahhhhh I love that so much! Jimin Is such a kind hearted and amazing person and friend to the band! I love it!

John Reaves

I loved it when singing hangsang j-hope kept watching up next to the stage where Jimin was watching the show and sang the line ’’i’m so turned up with my boys’’ and looked straight to Jimin, love how the boys keep each other close even when they are doing solo! There are also some clips where you can see Jimin next to stage watching j-hope from up there and being the biggest fanboy cheering and dancing!

Firebabyey

oh. my. god. COULD YOU IMAGINE. a whole festival, where the only performers are BTS, and the entire day/night are just members of BTS performing their own solo sets. That would be wild. BTS could do it. fo sho. Dude, I cried for days after this because I was just so proud of him. A lot of people who didn't know him also showed up and were apparently impressed as well. (I remember someone telling me the guy behind them came to see jhope because he had seen Green Day many times before and wanted to see something different) (Green Day was the other headliner for the night, they and jhope closed out the last day of Lolla that notification for 'coming up' was just Hulu and their programming) The security that were working around me were also really excited and curious to see what all the fuss was over this 'jhope' fella.

Breanne

I saw a comment from a guy that worked Lollapalooza and was unfamiliar with BTS. He had to go past Jay's stage as he was leaving and he stopped to watch the show. BTS has a habit of arranging their set lists very similar to what J-Hope did here. They play some really hype songs, then slow it down, then bring it up, then slow it down again. The guy said that he was impressed with the way J-Hope did that, because it gave the audience time to catch their breaths and rest from waving all of the ARMY bombs. He said that a set list like that was designed to give the audience the stamina to get through the whole set list, as well as the artists. I thought that was an interesting point. I think that J-Hope was glad that he went through the Lollapalooza experience, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't ever want to do a tour by himself. Jimin flew to the US just to watch the show and when he got there, J-Hope hadn't been eating or sleeping. He'd lost weight and was incredibly stressed. Having Jimin there made him feel much, much better and he was able to eat and sleep well the night before the show. Touring by himself, he'd have to deal with those nerves alone and I don't think he'd want to do that. As he said, the experience ended well, but he spent most of the time leading up to the show, weeks, in fear. That's no way for a person to live. Because of that, we probably won't ever get another concert like this from him. Unless he can do it in Korea, with the other BTS members there to support him. The song Ego is a BTS track, even though it's Hobi's solo. It's from the Map of the Soul: 7 album and they all had solos on that album. The rap line performs the Intro, Interlude, and Outro songs, with Ego being the Outro. RM does the Intro song, Persona, and Suga does the interlude song, Shadow I highly, highly recommend the album if you haven't heard it yet. Okay, I think that answered most of your questions. Sorry for the long post, though.

Jessica McGuire

J-Hope’s confidence only went up from here. Did you notice that in Busan concert? He never does anything less than 100% and this was a 1000% Love him so much!👏🏼👏🏼

Olena

This is not Ghost Band. They are musicians out of LA, not a band. The musical director & assistant director are the same for the Busan concert but they had different musicians there. They were all out of LA also though. They are with direction music group.

Kimberly W.

And the Dancers are choreographer Sienna Lalau (the woman with the pink body suit and white pants) and members of The Lab, previously featured in _O.N. Kinetic Manifesto_

mahjacat

The crowd there was larger than any stadium that they've played in can hold, approximately 105,000 people. I think Wembley is the largest that BTS has played at and it holds 90,000. So, yes, you're looking at the largest crowd he's ever performed for.

Jessica McGuire

This was not Ghost Band, but I believe they flew some of them over for Yet to Come in Busan. There isn't live backing singers, as per usual they layered in Hobi's backing tracks from the Albums. I think you also enjoyed Busan's guitar work too, prolly. The Marimba Synth on Piece of Piece has haunted my heart since the broadcast. So lovely.

mahjacat

Vuitton

mahjacat

Hobi encapsulated damn near every single genre of Lollapalooza Single-handedly. I have rarely been so proud of another human being 🖤🤍 (and baby is also Head to Toe Louis Vuitton, even the Gloves)

mahjacat

I would absolutely love to see your reaction to the vlive with Jimin right after the show. It's so real and incredibly wholesome. I didn't know I could love Jimin more than I already did. That live proved me wrong. 💜

Julie Kühnell

This was an amazing concert!

Ashleigh Mako

That concert really changed my perspective of what a performer could do and this happened to me very few times in my life. I probably watched again that performance everyday for a month! It was so different from what BTS does and so different from just any performance I ever witnessed! The staging, the setlist, the cohesion in lyrical content, the storytelling, the energy control, the attention to detail is crazy! It's like it all came together perfectly and I was making sense of everything about him! He definitely unleashed something that night, so I felt immensely proud of him and then hearing in the vlive he did right after what was on his mind during that process and the humilty... So much respect for him

Maëva

When you have a chance, I would love to hear your take on their Festa dinner, there were a lot of things said, also hidden meanings from them, like I said, if you know how to read between the lines, you will hear what they are trying to really say without actually saying it, also what I love, these boys are smart, they know how scripted & edited things like this are, so they try to show us where it was cut, or do things knowing if BH/HYBE would edit, it wouldn’t be posssible, I think you are very perceptive & intelligent to so I love hearing your thoughts & feelings, you are the only reactor turned Army that I have complete trust in, thank you for taking this journey even with those friend who gave you grief, it’s there loss, with BTS you don’t gain 7 talented Artists, you gain a whole freakin family, always wanted a brother, so will you be nae namdongsaeng which is “my younger brother in Korean”🫶🏻

kookietaetan

Also, do you think you'll check out the j-hope and Jimin v-live that he did right after this performance? It's only about 20 minutes and he shares a lot about how he was feeling and what the thought process was and how much went into the performance behind the scene. j-hope is the member who shares his feelings & process with us the least so it was a very rare opportunity to get that kind of insight and he was also unprecedentedly vulnerable. Plus it was really sweet to hear how grateful he was to Jimin and how proud Jimin was of him. Totally worth watching.

SNBangtan

I got to see this in person and it was the best night of my life. I'm not a festival person at all. I don't like crowds, I'm not great in the heat, and it sounds lame but the smell of pot gives me migraines so I was pretty miserable at that park until they started setting up for Hobi. Then it was like I was in another world. Hope World, I guess. I became j-hope biased at a concert (which happens to a lot of us) because, as is ARMY canon at this point, j-hope owns any stage he steps on and if you see him live, you can't help but be drawn to him. I went to Metlife Day 1 in 2018 in head-to-toe Jimin gear and by the time j-hope finished Just Dance, it was over for me. He's been my bias ever since. So I KNEW he was going to crush Lollapalooza. But he exceeded my expectations even. I've never seen a better set. And the energy of the crowd was unreal. He broke so many records, had both the founder of Lollapalooza and the Mayor of Chicago introducing his set, blew the roof off that festival, and then had incredible reviews from every major music & festival critic outlet out there (NME said it would go down in history as one of the best sets to ever grace the Lollapalooza stage). And it was even more impressive because he did that on his own. And, at the time, his crowd was bigger than any BTS had ever played for. Not counting the 14.9M live Weverse viewers and god knows how many Hulu viewers. The confidence and prowess and stage presence it takes to pull off a stage of that size is next level even for performers who have been doing it their whole careers. But this was his FIRST TIME solo. It's just beyond impressive and I really hope we never stop talking about that huge feat. He really did the damn thing.

SNBangtan

I was there that night. It was so worth waiting 9 hours in the blazing sun and heat. The atmosphere completely changed when he went on stage. ARMYs really took care of each other that day by being safe but also screaming the heck out of those lyrics! The crowd was nuts with energy, we definitely went all out for our Hobi. I miss that night so much!

Les

No I totally get what you are saying! I completely agree! I think he has another edgier side that we'll hopefully see one day, that was a full on metal scream and I loved it!!! lol

John Reaves

oh I'll have to watch that!!!

John Reaves

for real I would love it if he would do a solo tour between now and 2025 but I get it, that can be so draining and I cant even fathom it at his level. BUT ALSO! We're going to be posting part 1 tomorrow and part 2 on Sunday as a premier so we can have a live chat! I'm so stoked to do it because I'll be in chat just talking :)

John Reaves

Honestly I would just love to get their take on it all and see what they are thinking about it, I think best case scenario would be they all join sooner than later and then come back together 2025 and just crush it until the world ends lol but I know thats wishful thinking. I love their solo work as well and hope there is still a place for the full band down the road. and hey, dont worry about expressing your opinions here, you can always do that! you're respectful and that all we'll ask. this is a safe place for all to talk! and I LOVE THOSE LYRICSreally puts things into perspective

John Reaves

1st off I want to give Irene a shout out, love everything you wrote, you could never say too much, I tend to go on and on when talking about Hobi, BTS or any of the other guys, it’s just so easy, and there is always so much to say, so keep talking as much as you want. John, I was waiting for you to do this reaction, I’m so glad I got to watch it again with you, when I watched this live I was screaming, so damn happy for him, he freakin’ killed it, he showed the rest of the members that they can do it to if they want, as much as they love each other, have always been able to depend upon each other for 10 yrs, it is very scary for them, with BTS if one falls, the others are there to pick them up, the guys really need to be able to do this at least once, find out who they are without 6 others members, now as I’ve said before to you John, most reactors don’t go the full 110% into BTS, you enjoy them as performers, dancing, singing etc. you get to know them as their quirky personalities, but Ami ( Korean ) ARMY’s go further, there is so much to their story, I don’t want to write a novel which if I say everything I want to say it will end up being extremely long, this is going to be long as it is, I also want to keep the positivity going, but unfortunately there is some not so positive things, also don’t want to spoil anything you may watch in the future, I would recommend watching their 2018 MAMA speech, there are video’s out there just about the speech, warning as it is a tear jerker, at least I cry every time I see it without fail. It will give you a little more insight how tough things where, they talked about disbanding. Jin explains a little bit as to what the thoughts were then. I again want to stay positive but in 2025 when BTS is suppose to come back together with all 7 members not in military, because the maknae line with still have time to go in but a few years down the road, Yoongi aka Suga is going to have to enlist I think either by this coming March when his birthday is, I believe he will be at the age limit of 30, but I don’t think Namjoon aka RM or Hobi aka J-Hope, Jay, Hobari will going in yet, now this is mine and a few others opinions of what is going to happen, in 2025 the members will come back together and do a farewell concert, after in which Namjoon & Hobi will enlist, I don’t think there will be a BTS after that, but I also think that all of them will come back here and there and play together, again not as BTS, if you want to know more on my thought I will be happy to dm you, but do not want to say anymore in the open, there are some people who may attack me and again I don’t want to bring negativity to your channel, I really enjoy watching your reactions and want to continue to do that and I have a feeling that Meg will not like what I’ve said, so Sorry Meg please don’t anyone hate me, not to brag or anything like that, but I do know people on the inside or close to someone on the inside that does know more than fans know, and I am a person who will listen to what anyone has to say, but I take everything will a grain of salt, I do feel like what I said will happen, but again no one except the guys really know what is actually going on, and the boys have always said they want to be as open and honest with us as they can, but there are things that they are not allowed to tell us, even though they want to. These boys are extremely intelligent and if you read between the lines, they tell us things, it’s just some don’t want to listen so hence the toxicity on twitter, wish more people would read the lyrics to Stop: Right, there's something difficult about my friend Values, personality, daily friendships, polar-opposites, natural disasters A reaction that raises doubts even if you say it in a good way I/You am the one who always gives, trying to hide it, red sun Please stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop Don't fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight It's hateful and wild, but think about it one more time How are they all alike, and how are they all the same? The core essence can't be changed, so realize it, and be myself A single belief dominates me "There are no bad people in the world" Yes, I watch the news But what's that? Deadly criminal, are people really like that? Actions of humans are worse than brutes It is so dirty, so foul I wonder if they call themselves human Wait, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop Calm down, down, down, down, down, down, down Yes, go back to the very beginning Look at them again Living environment, education, system What is different from mine? I'm just relying on you, just one Human nature, that one Please be right These days the world is smarter But filled with things that aren't smart Remote conversations filled with anger Sacrifice is a matter of time Insecure area So, too many viruses Unconsciously polluting, I can't even evade this Now Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop Change our minds, minds, minds, minds, minds, minds, minds We came into the world to the law of cause and effect Even so, be careful, everything depends on our minds What we make Because small beginnings can make huge steps The world is changing because there are no bad people That's right? Ah-ha-ha-ha

kookietaetan

LOL HE REALLY DID!!!!!

John Reaves

Thank you. To be honest when I first just saw what he was wearing and his hair style at the beginning of the Busan concert, I could tell even than than he seemed different. My truly honest opinion is after seeing him perform this set, I see Hobi in a whole new way. I still see him as I did before, because I don't see it as he lost or changed anything exactly, more like just an elevated and largly expanded new way of seeing him as a person and as a artist. So no not something completly new, just more. More developed, more free, more mature, more natural, etc... Like I said I think it is just a result of his growth and development, etc... And I know I am so very, very proud of him, and very, very happy for him!💜💚💜

Irene (DragonsWrathxxx)

His performance alone sold over 102,000 tickets. It was the most tickets sold by a single artist in the 31 years they have been holding Lalapalooza. Even Billboard said he performed in front of 100,000 people. All the stats were published after the concert and announced all the records it broke. And you are right about the stadiums. The largest stadium BTS performed in was 80,000. That’s why they perform multiple days so as many ARMY can see them while they are there. Las Vegas was only 60,000 at the actual stadium. They had another 20,000 at the live play going on at the same time. Not including all of us watching online too.

Raynstor.m

I thought they said over a 100,000 people where there for the entire day of the festival. And that he probably had somewhere around 50,000 watching his set though. You might be right though, eeally not sure. Think different sources had different numbers, lol. But still that is actually bigger than even BTS stadium attendence for one concert, right? Well but that is also just those there at Lolla in person, thats not counting the 14.9 million watching the set live on weverse, which apparently it crashed then as well, and also the many, many of us watching live on hulu. My guess is there were probably millions on hulu as well. I know he made Lollapalooza history. Jhope became the most sellingest performer in Lollapalooza history. More than any other performer has before at Lollapalooza. Which Lollapalooza has been around since 1991, and I think it has been active off and on for more than 20 years. Lollapalooza is one of the most prestigious (highly attended, etc...), well known, longest running big festivals in the U.S. And as for merch, didn't they say they sold out earlier in the day and entire one million dollars worth of Jhope merch.

Irene (DragonsWrathxxx)

I feel like I've said maybe a bit much, and I didn't even give like a actual summary of the entire set, from like a over all point of view. lol

Irene (DragonsWrathxxx)

Oh and I would absolutely love to see this as a whole concert! Without a doubt, but not sure if thats what Jhope really wants. But I was also so very happy and proud that he had such a good reception here and that in the U.S. here, we were able to give him such a great welcoming feeling, and that Army was there full and strong! He deserves nothing less💜💚💜

Irene (DragonsWrathxxx)

From 12 years ago. There’s an original version of CNS, JHope & Becky G have talked about growing up hearing this song. https://youtu.be/sFav9P54JUA

Nature Girl

I know I saw Hobi make gesturecs towards Jimin up in the rafters on the left, like two different times during "Hansang." And obviously though it definitely made sense becuase in that so g it's about him and his brother's.

Irene (DragonsWrathxxx)

As for the back story to Chicken Noodle Soup, gonna let someone else get that one because it will probably be a bit lengthy, and my fingers are starting to get tired, lol. I'll just say, Hobi says that that song had a big influence on him when he was dancing and chasing his dreams when he was younger. The song was originally made by DJ Webstar and Young B., (it was a big dance song, with the specific dance craze, when dance crazes were first getting really popular, and I think it was also a cultural song, or should I say became one, when it was first released by them, I think specifically in the New York (Harlem) area) and what I know is that Hobi paid a lot of money and actually bought the rights to it from them directly. Oh and I think it was said that that song was important to Becky G for certain reasons as well, and I think or I would assume that that had maybe atleast a little bit to do with why they did the collab together. But please Army, please feel free and give a good full history on this song for John. Thanks guys!

Irene (DragonsWrathxxx)

Not 100 percent sure but I think most everything he was wearing whether dark or light, was mostly Dior, including the Gloves. At one point I think I saw the Dior logo on the gloves.

Irene (DragonsWrathxxx)

Totally agree with you! It felt like Hobi was able to "push himself" just a little more, just grittier and a deeper understanding of who he is and what he's capable of during the Busan concert, due to doing his solo projects💜🙏 I found myself feeling as if Jin now must see his own growth (as we have from The Astronaut), and just SO EXCITED to experience our 5 other members to come with their own music/projects! Their growth and development is going to continue to blow us away! Love that you made this point! 💜💜

Anne

You said about "If music could change the World," I agree all the way. And if I understand correctly I think it was part of one of the companies that he worked with on JITB, but they submitted "Equal Sign," to the Grammy's for I think "Song for Change," or something like that, I think its one of those added special awards. And I hope with all my being that he could won that award with that song. Equal Sign is a true force for good, and that's an understatement!

Irene (DragonsWrathxxx)

You wanted to know how many people were there watching Hobipalooza. The event is 4 days long and Sunday the last day is typically the lightest day of attendance. Hobi aka “J” had the largest ticket sales ever and it was the largest crowd ever seen on a Sunday. There were over 102,000 people (mostly ARMY) in attendance. They completely sold out of merch. The concert was held at one of the smaller venues. I believe Green Day was at the biggest venue at the other end and their crowd was much smaller. If Hobi had that stage I am sure ARMY would have completely filled that venue too. Hobi set all kinds of records that day. The mayor at that time made an announcement prior to his show announcing lalapalooza will be around at least another 10 years. How she was talking about Hobi you know she is ARMY and he is her bias. 😉 I absolutely loved this concert. I wish he would tour too. But this was really hard on him mentally & physically. And he made it sound like this is the only time it will be done. But never say never. That might just be how he was feeling at the time. You should check out the VLive him and Jimin had after it was over. I enjoyed watching the concert with you. I wish you could have watched it live with us so we could have answered all your questions. But I am sure Meg can also fill you in since she was lucky enough to see it live. Edit - the 102,000 plus were at the concert. There were millions of us watching online. I think this is what they wanted to do in Busan too but for safety reasons went with a stadium concert instead. Borahae 💜🫰

Raynstor.m

his process was a lot. He talks about it in his live right after this concert. Very revealing of his nerves and why he made the choices he did.

Debra Gromacki

I wanted to point out, before I forget, go rewatch the Bussn concert, like specially in the beginning, listen and you will hear that grit in his voice still, the screams that he lets loose here, he did it than to at times. Honestly I think that grittier, more aggressive side has been apart of him just waiting to come out. And I feel like he was able to unleash it during this set, and I think it was received very well, and that he is probably happy to be able to let that side of himself out and shine. Honestly I think its so cool that he seems to still have that newer edge, it truly seems like thats who he has really evolved into, grown into as a person, as a artist, and my guess would be he loves being able to show that side of who he is. I hope you can understand what I mean.

Irene (DragonsWrathxxx)

P.S. John! 😁 My daughter and I were at the Chicago concert 3 years ago at Soldier Field Stadium that he was mentioning right before "Just Dance"! So blessed to have seen BTS 2 x (2018 in Canada, 2019 in Chicago)💜🙏💜 We had tickets for their 2020 concert in May of that year, but Covid-19 hit, so we were refunded our money 😔😊 We were screaming watching Hobipalooza when he mentioned it 😄😄💜💜

Anne

got to do the vlive after

Debra Gromacki

During "Reflexion", roght in the middle, you asked what they were saying. The crowd was saying "Go Hobi" Thats one of his real nicknames is Hobi, I think I have also seen as "Hoba."

Irene (DragonsWrathxxx)

Hobi's (or "J" - name Suga called him back in the day) chapter 2 started out awesome and is only getting better. I love his attitude and persona now. He wanted to show multiple sides of him (we got a glimpse before with BTS but this is ALL him) That is not the Ghost Band. Here's more info about them: https://www.bandwagon.asia/articles/bts-j-hope-live-band-hobipalooza-lollapalooza-performance-set-songs-live-arrangement-chicago-july-2022 You might find his appearance on IU's Palette interesting. Outro:Ego from Map of the Soul: 7 album. Love that he had Sienna and The Lab as backup dancers... they have such good chemistry with him. I wonder if we'll get solo performances (from their solo albums) plus group stuff in 2025...

susan

JiMin was there, in the upper balcony area to the back left side. Every once in a while you can see him when the camera is angled that way.

Nature Girl

Hobi did such an amazing job and I know he is proud of himself m,as he should be. And as far doing more concerts, it’s really up to him. I know that doing Lolla was very stressful for him and even when he arrived to Chicago he mentioned being a dark/down mindset, he wasn’t eating properly, he felt very lonely w/his members, until Jimin arrived and was like a light for him. He was so grateful that Jimin was there and provided him with a lot of strength. So if Hobi is satisfied w/just Lolla or if he wants to do more solo shows in the future it’s really up to him and that should be respected. It’s about what he feels right for him and not what we want. Anyway he is amazing, a born performer. Also Ego is from BTS’s album Map of the Soul 7.

This was the BEST concert that I've NEVER gone to! 😂 A lot of people reacting to this kept comparing it to what we are used to seeing in a BTS concert because they are used to seeing choreo along with most of the songs. Jhope wanted to show a part of his passion for music that no one really gets to see. I think that goes for all of the guys hense their solo projects and songs to show a different side of them. Of course Jhope had to put in some choreo because a huge part of his persona is his passion for dance.😊 ps...there is footage on line of Jimin on the side of the stage in the rafters with others and a few times you can see Jhope look up there and smile at him and you also see Jimin following some of the choreo on "EGO" There are actually a maybe 4 or 5 different mixes of Dynamite and He's doing the Tropical Mix.

One of the best live sets I've ever scene, and I have seen quite a lot. And, also, I say that having only had the opportunity to live stream it, so yeah!💜💚💜

Aren't you so proud of him?? 😁😁 I mean, we all know how incredible of a performer he is, but he took this on and was absolutely phenomenal!! No matter how many times I've watched this, especially watching reactions, Hobipalooza evokes every emotion possible & never disappoints! Just love him sooooooo much! 🥰❤️🔥
