Yes her complaining about not getting enough points came off as very entitled. But when you see this side of her it makes her a lot more complex. I like her a lot more after this episode.

But I think there's a good chance that this plot will continue. Perhaps Benji likes them a little and is disappointed that a relationship didn't happen or maybe the point of their story was a right person wrong time sort of thing.

Spencer never actually planned to vote for Ivy and the real plan was to go for Tristan all along. I also assume Spencer didn't mention the real target incase someone decided to split the votes between him and Jade. As for agreeing to vote Spencer, it seems there were conversations off-screen and judging by the time of day, it probably wouldn't be very hard for everybody else to get together and decide to vote for Spencer.

I can understand but still... I'm worried. Isabel and Natalia already making plans outside the Girls' Alliance, oh man! Red Team: Spencer and Jade once again working together! Uh-oh... though Jade is smart not to fully trust him after Diego's elimination. Tristan bonding even more with Hannah and Benji, so awesome. Though Ivy still feeling the emotional effects of what happened after the Music challenge. Zaid, you better help her out somehow. Now then challenge... that was just intense yet awesome! Though Ivy getting injured by Anastasia... damn! And Marissa was not too happy about it. Oh man, looks like we are getting some angst from Marissa x Anastasia (Something we didn't get with Gabby x Ellie. I better fasten myself for this.) The Ivy and Tristan moment literally got to me. Ivy wants to prove herself that she doesn't rely on her parents' fame but... having to be perfect for them... it can really mess people up. But Tristan... I never knew they dealt with a lot of drama in their family life. Just... just damn. Now elimination... I CANNOT BELIEVE TRISTAN IS GONE! They reminded me so much of Gabby in a way and now... they're gone. But they're right... they found a family while competing. (However, it seems Hannah's friendship curse still goes on) Spencer had that dang immunity idol to thank, but he better be careful the next time Red Team loses. (Ivy and Zaid, you two better avenge Tristan for what happened)

But that's also problematic because of the already established alliances on blue team. But if that doesn't happen and red team goes to another ceremony, Benji is Spencer's only shot at surviving. Hannah, Ivy and Zaid definitely won't work with Spencer but Benji MIGHT be willing to cuz he wanted Spencer to notice him and see him as useful. So Spencer could manipulate him and give him false hope that he'll form an alliance with him but stab Benji in the back first chance he gets.

Spencer: I feel like he’s got a lot story left but want him after what he did to Tristen! He’s giving more villain energy than Lynda rn. Hannah: well… she’s the goat for helping Ivy. Blue Team: Lynda: she was actually trying be nice and wash everyone clothing and not a thank you from anyone. She maybe little cut throat but she’s still got Mother hearts in her Natalie & Isabel: both planning their swap from the girls alliance. I’m excited to see how this will unfold. Marissa & Anastasia: both really support each other. Marissa wanting to Anastasia to play fair not nasty was good & Anastasia not telling Marissa about the voting advantage was a smart move for both the game and their relationship. Logan & Richard: both are in hot water and hands down the best players on their team. Richard carried in the past couple challenges & Logan a total sweet heart who’s got some skills. Through sadly don’t think they will last very long.

However as I stated I am aware they are building up the drama by using Lynda, Anastasia, Jade and Natalia as a catalyst. It is coming. People claiming it won't come at all is wrong. It is simply a different approach to what the audience is used to in a traditional Survivor show. Yeah. I will continue supporting ONC because again while this season is untasteful as hell to me it isn't to others. And I respect that. ONC should be able to tell the stories they want. They work hard and their series deserves to be seen. I did not like how people vilified the season and the company before watching each episode. Give it a try and form your own opinion I say. There is no real right or wrong, only perspectives to learn from. Have a nice day.

2025-02-12 11:32:13 +0000 UTCSPOILERS because DUH In all honesty, I am upset because I really thought Tristian could've made the merge and made it far in the game. But looking at it, where else could they have gone with them. These last couple of episodes they've been relegated to the support and we already kinda have Hannah for that role. Yeah, we got to see some of their demons (Especially in this episode and I love the talk they had with Ivy) but really these scenes could've been done with Hannah just as easily. I did want them to make the merge, hell other than Ivy, Benji and Anastacia, I honestly had Tristian as one of my win picks, but alas it's not meant to be. I won't cry over it as it's just a TV Show, and I do think the writing was good for this, there was some set up and strategically it made sense, Tristian was starting to dominate and by getting rid of them now, and come the merge, Ivy and Zaid (If they both make it) will have limited allies and could've dominated the game with Tristian. Look at what happened with Hunter, Ally and Tess. Actually, now that I type this, they kinda remind me of them. As for the rest of the episode, I thought it went well, Natalia spreading out and warning the boys about Lynda was smart, it makes it show that the girls won't dominate the Blue team the next time they lose. I also love that Anastacia is trying to play the game more rather than just rely on Marissa because really she's mainly followed Marissa's lead, if Marissa gets voted off, what else will she have? Her finding that extra vote was amazing, I'm so glad they're adding advantages to the game other than Immunity Idols, that was something All Stars lacked, I really hope we have more of them. Spencer going full villain and Jade pulling the strings like the puppet I am all for. It's like Alec and Fiore but done more right. It's not making Spencer blindly follow Jade unlike Alec, Spencer does think for himself. As for Ivy, god this arc hits close to home for me. I feel for her, I have been there (Hell I'm still partially there), trying to prove one's self, not feeling good enough, having someone push their expectations onto you and you will do anything to make them happy because you just want their approval. I feel that shit in my bones, and you know what, I can see it. I actually think this is great writing and a great direction for Ivy to go in, finding her own self. I'm really hoping her character arc will revolve around her figuring out what she wants to do and finding her true self, because speaking from personal experience, it's hard when you live under someone's expectations, you lose your identity and don't end up knowing who you are. I really hope Zaid, Tristian (Through their little speech), and Hannah will probably help Ivy find herself. I'm just glad she isn't turning into Riya 2.0, she's kinda now being built up to be like an Anti-Hero to go against Spencer. Please ONC do not fumble the ball with this, please let Ivy have a satisfying ending and let her figure out who she is deep down.

DC4 have many great qualities but repetition of elimination is not one of them. Maybe this will change in the merge. Maybe not. But pre-merge era this really is the most untasteful season so far. First there's barely any drama and everyone loves everyone, those who leave(even Ted and Diego to an extent) is always on good terms with their voters. The interactions between characters are fine and relatable. Decent dialogue system. The characters do feel human. However it genuinely feels like I am watching a 2x speed video of characters talking to Hannah or Logan a few times and then they're just out of the game. Now in their defense they are building drama up. That is fine. However, the question begs to be answered whether those fireworks are enough to hook people into staying. Nothing about this episode was peak writing material or "unpredictable" or "subverted expectations of their audience". If this was truly the case then the Red Team would not had lost for the third time and losing yet another participant who befriended Hannah. Similarly, this is the same case with Logan on the Blue Team. Anyone that interacts with Logan will in some ways be eliminated (Alessio, Ted) If they really wanted to avert attention and predictability they would had voted out someone who isn't in good stand with Hannah, because this elimination, along with the episode having a med evac scare, was fully predictable since episode 2 when Spencer mentioned Tristan as being trustworthy. People already knew there wasn't gonna be a med evac situation. In despite of my qualms with the way DC4 is structured I still think it is important to give funds to ONC to complete the season. While it isn't appealing to me it can be inspiring for others. Especially with characters like Ivy and Tristan. I will keep subbing until the Toon Boom false claim situation is clarified and ONC can get full monetization to their YouTube channel.

I think her letting Spencer save himself with her totem is better for her gameplay. Plus, all the heat from the elimination will be on Spencer's back so she can go a little under the radar as nobody knew it was her idol.

Sure, he's got a set of balls on him for doing some of the things he does but he's hilarious, willing to learn and he's becoming more courageous and proud to be himself. His juvenile sense of humour always shines through with humour and relatability (especially with the ball gag this episode), his confidence in his actions even though his idol does not look better than the real one and his open mindedness towards Tristan. Although I don't think the crush between Benji and Tristan is needed, it would be super sweet if that turns out to be case and even more so if they do actually get together. Then, Tom and Jake might have some stiff competition for my favourite DC couple. Benji, I love you.

I was surprised we didn't get any medical evacuation for this one because those on the Ferris wheel could have fallen but the only injury was on the ground and inflicted by another player. Miracles do happen. I think Marissa, Tristan and Richard shined the most in this challenge all at different points and not just with throws and dodges but with their good sportspersonship. That's what games like Disventure Camp are supposed to be about not who wins what challenge or what prize. You three have my utmost respect

As someone who worked in theatre for over a decade, the pressure to be perfect is 100% real and if someone sees you as anything other than perfect, it can destroy you. It's a very cold and unforgiving industry full of egos, favouritism, pressure and bullying. You get constantly shamed for shining, thinking differently and not being with the in crowd because no matter what you do, it feels as if you're never good enough. It really is no wonder why Ivy always strives for perfection and I want to give her a massive hug and tell her that she is enough. She is DEFINITELY NOT Riya 2.0. Similar affliction but different style and result. That's all it is.

It seems to me through this episode alone, Natalia and Isabel are getting smarter and are realising the girls alliance won't work in the long haul. Logan and Richard might still be a tad sloppy but they're becoming desperate to stay in the game now they're outnumbered. Lynda is showing her sensitive side a lot more. Marissa is taking her role as leader even more seriously. As for you Anastasia, I am VERY disappointed in you, VERY.

I’m sorry that Tristan got out though but I guess this will be a step forward in Ivy’s growth by having Tristan get voted out.

They had a lot of power within the team cuz of how good of a social person they were. Makes sense why Spencer targeted them. I kinda wanted Zaid to go more but instead that means we'll get more development for Ivy and Zaid's relationship. Spencer surprisingly bounced back. Man keeps getting closer and closer to going but escapes it every time. Idk for how much longer but I'd doubt he'd let his guard considering he made the target on his back even bigger. Fun challenge, Tristan carried but I'm kinda worried how Richard is gonna react knowing they're gone now. I thought Natalia was gonna have a much bigger role. A little disappointed in that. Overall great episode imo

I don’t know if this comment will age badly or not, but it’s a shame Richard will never get that rematch with Tristan. I was fully expecting Ivy to get out this episode, but, even though I knew Tristan would be eliminated eventually, I didn’t think it would be so soon. Their name being read like that made me go from 😊 to 😨. Still, glad Jade’s next step of her revenge came into play more as she’s one more step closer to finally getting rid of Spencer. Ivy, better get to working on your redemption arc girl, because if Benji can do it, so can you.
