Hey everyone!
I'm thrilled to announce that Chapter 8 of the guide is now live! This time, we're diving into upscaling with ControlNet—but not with just 3 or 4 methods… I’m bringing you 5 powerful ControlNet upscaling techniques to take your image generation to the next level. 🚀💡
Highlights of Chapter 8:
✅ Five different ControlNet upscaling methods—each with unique strengths and use cases.
✅ How to enhance details without losing the composition.
✅ Step-by-step guides for both Automatic1111/Forge and ComfyUI users.
✅ All ComfyUI workflow and before after Images in the project files.
Upscaling isn’t just about making images bigger—it’s about refining details, improving clarity, and enhancing textures in a way that preserves (or even improves) artistic quality. Whether you’re working with portraits, landscapes, or stylized generations, these methods will give you more control and better results than ever before.
This chapter was a deep dive into one of the most requested topics, and I hope it helps you push the limits of what’s possible with AI upscaling! Your support and feedback continue to inspire me, and I’m grateful for this amazing community. 🙌
Let me know what you think of Chapter 8, and as always, feel free to share your results, experiments, and thoughts! Your insights help shape future guides and improvements. ❤️
A Scary Moment with the Guide... and a Big Decision
The other day, I sat down to continue writing and noticed the guide was only 90 pages long. That didn’t seem right—I was sure I had already crossed 120+ pages.
So, I checked my cloud storage history and realized that somehow the guide had been overridden by an older version. 😱 Luckily, I was able to restore the latest version, but this whole experience made me step back and rethink things...
The guide has gotten WAY too long.
So, after some thought, I’ve decided to split the guide into two parts:
📖 The Basic Guide – Free for everyone! This will cover the essentials of ControlNet, perfect for newcomers. (Chapters 1-5 will be public.)
🔒 The Advanced Guide – Forever exclusive to you guys! This will include deep dives, advanced techniques, and specialized workflows. (Chapters 6-10 will be for paying members only.)
I will include a teaser in the Free version.
This way, new users can still learn and explore ControlNet freely, while those of you who have supported me get access to even more exclusive, in-depth content. I think this is the best balance moving forward, and I hope you’ll agree!
Let’s keep creating and pushing the boundaries together! 🚀
With appreciation,
Chris
