The moms say a ton of nice things to each other and about their kids sans Melissa (Maddy’s mom). Can’t remember one nice exchange between Abby and those moms 😂. They only stuck around bc of a deceiving, years-long contract. That said, they definitely chose to participate in the entertainment aspect of the show (which Abby obv did too) once the show became popular for it. Abby showered Maddy and Melissa with adoration, but for Maddy it was part of a manipulative abuse cycle, and for Melissa it came with the transaction of making Melissa do a lot of unpaid labor 😤.
