I really liked the final result. For starters this was some of the best art and character design of the series, and they did a good job replicating some very sexy poses from the manga. A lot of the material worked very well with zooms and playbacks too.
Something I DON'T like is when a nipple sighting is placed very far away or otherwise is too lacking in detail to be sexy. It's something that has plagued a lot of ecchi series, even some very good ones. Thankfully those types of occurrences have been rare in the Ikkitousen franchise (with the exception of Ikkitousen: Xtreme Xecutor). What you'd rather see is good framing where the boobs are relatively close up which is where the image and art quality is best. In Western Wolves there might be the best ratio of perfectly framed bare boobs of any iteration of the franchise to date, and that's saying something.
Which is a lot of words to say that this OVA series did a great job. If it's the last of this series, it went out on a good note. Though that being said, a post credits scene after the last episode indicated that there might be more to come.
