Here we go again!

"Vacation" time is over. After some long discussions, we decided to keep the project as it is for now in terms of development and direction. We will probably try to give some advantages to Patreon supporters, but without leaving anyone out. Of course, what may feel like a benefit for one side can seem like a disadvantage to the other, but in reality, nothing should truly change.

We are considering early access for paying supporters (which is pretty common) and maybe some cheat codes for those who prefer a shortcut. As for monthly pictures, renders, or similar extras, we decided to avoid them since they would take away precious time from actual game development.

We want to remind everyone that this is a project, an idea, and something we do for fun—at least for now. We both have real-life jobs, families, and responsibilities. Yes, the first version was quite big, but it took around six months to craft. The second update, which was also a huge effort for us, took about three months. Even though some people said it felt "short" or "empty," we think it was a good-sized update, especially considering it was completed in just three months. We were riding the initial hype and felt almost obligated to match your amazing support and good vibes.

That’s why we keep saying 12/31/25. We are confident we will have something earlier, but who knows? We may need the extra time to deliver a solid 0.3 for you.

We hope to keep delivering—for you, and for us too.

PS: It will take a few extra days before you start seeing development updates again. We’re planning to do a slow but complete playthrough of both routes (pure and not pure) to see how they feel this time and identify what can be improved.

The update felt substantial to me liking the new mini games and animation and definitely think it was worth the wait

We'd love that, but we can't travel in time, yet.

Can't you just release the game soon it's too hard to wait for month 12

Fighter

Would love to see some teasers of update 0.3

Hi Axel, first of all thank you for your kind and honest words. We truly value your passion for the game and your concern, and we completely understand where you’re coming from. You are right that from the outside it can look like silence or secrecy, and we don’t want you or anyone else to feel ignored. The truth is that after the break we announced, we moved directly into coding, recoding, reworking parts of the game, and doing playtesting. This stage is very time-consuming, and while it is crucial to make sure the game feels right, it unfortunately doesn’t produce flashy teasers or things we can easily show. A lot of what’s happening right now is technical and behind-the-scenes, and we didn’t want to post meaningless screenshots just for the sake of posting. The earlier updates came out so quickly because we were overworking ourselves, pushing too hard to respond to the amazing support the project received. That rhythm was exciting, but also exhausting, and it wasn’t sustainable for the long term. We had to take a step back and rethink how to keep going without burning out. That’s why we mentioned in our info post that we were making decisions about the future of the project, reorganizing our workflow, and finding a healthier pace that still delivers quality. Please also remember that, as much as we would love to dedicate all our time to the game, we still have our lives, jobs, and families to take care of. At this point we only have a few hours each week to fully put into development. That doesn’t mean we’ve abandoned anything — it just means progress is slower, but still moving forward. We will start posting teasers again once there’s something meaningful to share. A teaser, in our opinion, should be more than just a random image; it should show real progress or something new for you to look forward to. Until then, please know that work is happening in the background, even if you don’t see daily updates. Also, we want to make it very clear that we are not forcing anyone to support us financially. This project isn’t about making money or scamming anyone. If at any point you feel uncomfortable, we encourage you to reduce or pause your support until you feel confident again. Support is always voluntary. We only want people to stay if they truly feel good about it. We deeply appreciate your patience, your trust, and your love for the game. This project exists because of people like you, and we are giving everything we reasonably can while keeping it something we enjoy creating, not a burden that we “must” do. We hope this message helps you understand our side, and we promise that when there’s something worth showing, you will see it. Thank you again for caring so much.

Hi dev, please read this sincere letter! <3 I really love you guys and I love this game but I don't understand the sudden secrecy and the lack of communication at all. You guys were so open and transparent until 0.22... what happened? what changed? You guys said the break would be three weeks, that's fine. Then you took another two weeks which became a whole month, and now on July 31, you guys said you need a few extra days which was another entire week!! My point isn't about the break or why you took it... but there has to be a limit, you cannot just procrastinate and keep pushing the break week after week. It completely breaks our trust and sets a precedent that "Yeah we'll do as we please" and that is not professional at all But most of all what I don't actually understand is the lack of development updates for 0.30. You said the development has started but I barely know anything. August is ending. What's going on? God knows! Teasers were the only way I assumed that you guys were working, but there are no teasers since June. Lately it feels like there is no work done on the game. You were also a lot more active on discord, and online most of the time, but now I barely see your name online. It's not that being online on discord equals work done, but it shows that you are present and active.... not invisible and lurking in the shadows. When people are patient and ready to wait, that does not mean you can take their time for granted and if you have undertook this game development, then you have to respect that patience and time. Being silent is fine, but are you at least posting a teaser once in a while or showing us that you are working through devlogs and updates... Breaks are fine, but are you catching up on the work and time that you lost? Sincerely >Áxel

So, you are telling me that you don´t know how to prioritize people that are giving you 5,10, 25$ or € with the people that are pirating your game or taking advantage of your post for free on Discord? People that are not paying a dime and are pirating your game are not in a disadvantage because they are not giving you anything for the game to be developed. How can you not undestand that? Do you want for people to support your project or not because you are getting me confused with treating everyone the same?
