I see so many people say this and I'm yet to see proof that Kubo actually intended to kill Byakuya off but didn't follow through because he's a fan favourite. It's not like we haven't seen numerous Bleach characters recover from what would typically be fatal wounds.

Anime continuity is the 'true' story though. - While the light room and suit were what Mayuri was working on in his lab, don't forget that you saw him operating on something else. Something that was wailing in pain. - This opening is OK to watch. It's the only opening in Blood War so far that doesn't just flat out spoil everything lol. - Irazusando (that training path Ichigo is on) translates to "Path of No Return." - Now that you're a few episodes ahead, what do you make of how Ichibe (the staring monk) described Irazusando? "It begins but does not end. Names wither in the silence, in an abyss of roiling clouds. Raindrops fill an empty vessel. Those unworthy to be a vessel succumb to it's weight and turn to stone. It breaks apart and turns to gravel. Pounding rain reduces it to dust. "

Can't get over how much Askin (D) looks like Aizen 😂 Soifon turned up this episode using Shunko, same move Yoruichi used against her in their fight in the soul society arc. Remixed version of precipice of defeat always gives me chills, never gets old. Although I like the original precipice of defeat better, the TYBW version still bangs

2025-03-20 01:08:46 +0000 UTC[Tidbits For Those Interested] - Fun Fact: There is an early artwork in Bleach that has Uryu walking beneath Ichigo as his Shadow, which in hindsight was an obvious hint. For those who want to see it, research [Bleach Chapter 34 Quincy Archer Hates You]. - We get the confirmation of where the Quincy went and hid for 1000 years. Many assume that this shadow world is a place that alters aging in some way which makes sense given it's in the shadows of the Soul Society. This is likely how Quincy who are Human are able to still be young and alive despite hundreds of years passing. - Here In the manga we learned from Bazz B that he was the one who basically saved them back when Yamamoto tried to burn the 3 Sternritter attacking him setting Yamamoto's flames off course, which means Bazz B Flames are pretty strong. - Nanao creating such a unique and powerful Kido in such a short time is a good showing of just how capable she actually is. Shunsui is one of the Strongest Captains, so it's good to see that his Lieutenant has the chops for the position. - The scene where Omeada is confronted by BG9 (The Robotic Quincy) is slightly different in the manga, his sister gets gruesomely impaled, but here Omeada takes the Hit. - "9th Head of the Fon Clan" is a slightly important line, many Bleach fans either forget or aren't aware the Lesser Noble Families exist and that Nobility in Soul Society means you have a higher reiatsu potential. - Askin is a breath of fresh air, at least for this genre of Shounen Anime. He's not the type that just fights, he uses his brain and respects possible threats, we all know how outlandish Mayuri is so it's smart to want to avoid a fight with him, especially when there are much easier targets. Just for notice Uryu's letter is "A" as mentioned in a previous episode but it is not the same power per as Yhwac, they just have the same letter. A and B just happend to be the highest ranks, mainly for story purposes. Also to make it easier to say his name just call him "Yuha".

First Ywhach is capable of seeing into someone’s soul, from what he sees he then makes them drink his blood and carve a letter into their soul, this grants them a schrift based on their personality and who they are. These ones go from A to Z and no one has the same schrift, that is why Uryu is even more special of a case, because it is stated by Ywhach the he shares the letter A. The schrifts are a form of hacks ability, since they can be very simple or very abstract and complex, some of them are so vague that the community is not entirely sure on how they work; so don’t feel bad if you can’t figure them out before we explain them to you.
