#SundayRundown I lost track if you guys figured out the timeline yet or not with Milchick saying the 5 month thing? I can mention it more definitively on episode 2's discussion but I vaguely remember that you guys did in fact figure it out by the later episode?

#SundayRundown. Innies 1000% definitely know what sex is. That's literally the reward of the waffle party; had Dylan stayed on the bed waiting to 'tame' the tempers wearing the masks. Ms.Casey tells Irving his outie is skilled at love making. They all insinuate 'baby goats' being code for sex with Mark S. Dylan mentions loving MILFs and taking pity on their husbands (He knows he has a kid, that = reproduction) During the ORTBO Helena cracks a joke about spilling your lineage and everyone there understands it. Milchick tells Mark Ms.Cobel was trying to pursue an erotic thruple etc. Lots of other examples but yeah. Anyways loving your reactions and discussions!

Yeah I’m not trying to over theorize but my ears perked up when Mark found Regabhi hiding at his old school. Like something about him being a history professor makes him unique in processing information

I'm loving the reactions, and I'm so glad you guys are going into little deep dives with the episode to catch little bits and pieces. One thing I do want to highlight from this episode was the opening scene. Ben Stiller asked Adam Scott what Mark's first reaction would be upon finding himself back in MDR and Adam replied, 'he'd immediately sprint to try and find Ms. Casey'. From that little tidbit we've got that incredibly shot opening. Loved the reaction and I can't wait to see your guys reactions in the coming weeks.

Here's how they filmed the running scene: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/bSFJnQAc148 -- it's literally one dude with a camera on a stick running either behind or ahead of Adam Scott -- sometimes running backwards while Scott runs forwards. That's literally all it is. Check out the video!

That dialog is in the second episode, "Half-Loop": Helly: "But why don’t we always finish the files?" Dylan: "’Cause they only keep so long. You know, we finish, on average, one in five files before they expire. Which is better than it used to be before Mark’s freshman fluke." It's revealed in overheard dialog between Dylan and Helly (while we're focused on Irving having the paint hallucination while he dozes off) that Mark refined his very first assignment, called "Allentown," in record time. It's why he's got that glass cube with his face etched in it on his desk - no one else has one of those. And whatever it was that he did caused Lumon to change up how MDR works now as compared to how it worked before Mark was employed there. That "they only keep so long" is rather ominous, knowing what we know now - is that how long a dead body can be preserved by Lumon?

For Pat - Lumon industries has hundreds of products that they sell. They're not just the Severance floor.

There have always been five buckets - but each bucket is filled with four Tempers. Each bucket has four categories -- when it opens up the lid you can see "WO" "FR" "DR" "MA" - Woe, Frolic, Dread, Malice. Each *person*, according to Kier, is made up of these four Tempers. Each box for each project (and it seems each project is a human being) is getting filled up with a certain amount of each of the four Tempers.

I don't remember this dialogue first-hand, but I've seen people talk about an exchange Dylan and Helly had early in season 1, where Dylan talks about Mark having been an MDR superstar when he first started, refining data at a speed that no one else has ever come close to. So, assuming that exposition happened, it somewhat explains Lumon's fixation on Mark. There is something unique about his Innie's abilities. I'm sure it's more complicated than that, though, and it also doesn't explain what's Gemma's deal. (There are many theories, but I try to keep that wing of the fandom at arm's length. It can be fun to theorize, but some of the stuff people are coming up with is just fucking goofy.)

There must be something unique about both Mark and Gemma. If it were just a matter of finding spouses then Lumon would just repeat the dead spouse scenario. Cobell, Milchick, and Drummond are all aware of the importance of Cold Harbor but Rehgabhi isn’t but they all know who Gemma is.
