They're generally a little stronger than the initial dungeon but not significantly so, and they're known for offering a lot more loot than regular dungeons. It's why the group was so sure that if they left it another party would snatch it up, and they would miss out on a huge payday. The Hunter Association always sends overqualified people to keep the mortality rate down, so most hunters we see in the first episode are D-rank or C-rank, with JooHee even being B-rank. For an E-rank dungeon, they expected the double dungeon to be around D-rank (C in the worst-case scenario). A little dangerous, but they'd still be overqualified for it. Instead, these poor fools got an S-rank dungeon. Imagine entering the first dungeon in a Legend of Zelda game, fighting a few slimes, and deciding you're ready for the first boss battle cause you've been crushing it up to this point, only for a fucking Dark Souls boss to show up and absolutely violate you in ways that would give hentai writers trauma.

I don't think she is taller that 5 ft 10 inch, her name will be revealed later. I really like how the anime introduced a bunch of S rank hunters early in the first episode to hype them up for later. Also is really nice to have a MC who is an adult from the beginning of the story, with adult responsibilities. I think he's suppose to be in his early 20's on episode 1

Instead of taking the new offer, she should try to leverage the potential benefits she may receive and draft a new contract for the partnership. I think she is the spark and new glue for the team. She gave Marcus confidence to start his baking journey, recognized Tina's potential to do more in the restaurant, helped craft a budget in season 1 to reduce costs, and focused solely on the restaurant during its reconstruction. It was her and Richie that saved friends and family. Sydney needs to recognize her worth, but so does Carmy. I think Richie has a point. The restaurant lost its soul, Mikey. He was the beef, and now the restaurant feels lifeless and chaotic because they forgot why it was special in the first place.

I watched the first season in Korean Dub. It might be interesting if you guys watch a clip on your own or on the channel in Korean. I also want to suggest Dungeon Meshi for a future poll. Since food is a big theme, it would be cool to see Navi and Rana try to cook some dishes inspired by the anime.

I watched all of it in japanese, but im pretty excited to see you react to the dub as i have seen some clips here and there of Aleks Le as Sung Jin Woo and he is honestly killing it. Hope that down the line we can get a Sub vs Dub for Sung Jin Woo, as the japanese VA Taito Ban is an absolute BEAST of a voice actor

Robert california absolutely remains the best addition of the season though.

Suraj and Navi if you plan on continuing to read the Solo Leveling Manhwa, I would STRONGLY recommend just stopping about 10ish chapters before the end. Without giving any spoilers, I really really liked Solo Leveling but the ending soured me on the entire thing x.x
