I'm pretty sure the next release won't be season 2. It'll just be the second half of season one. This whole thing they've been doing the past few years of releasing half seasons or "cours" is pretty silly as it fairly often causes issues like this when you're expecting a finale but it's just another episode. Because where they stopped is like in the middle of the very beginning of an arc. But who knows maybe they will call it season 2. I have no clue what publishers and distributors are doing these days.
