#SundayRundown I think the scene of them showing that Powder left the gems AND the necklace that ekko from the original timeline gave her in the drawer named VI showed that she's never going to use those crystals at all. It's a memory and a reminder--the irony that like one of the reasons why everything was great in this timeline was because Powder didn't reach her full and true potential -- she was content to being who she was, without having to prove herself (which we see in hints of Vander giving her the talk on that he think she's meant to do great things and not spend her life in a bar) , which in all the other timelines, because of her desire to prove herself, tragedy after tragedy happens.

Hands down my favorite episode of the series, and Heimerdinger's Spin the Wheel might actually be my favorite song on the sound track. Through the whole seano Ekko was the one I was always most curious to catch up with. One question I'm surprised they didn't go into (likely a time costraint) was in the alternate Zaun/Piltover, what happened to Jayce?

#SundayRundown #Arcane Ep7 Are y'all ready for some "fun" facts? Ekko's Z-Drive allows him to rewind himself 4 seconds backwards in time, and the Ekko and Powder dance scene was animated at 4 frames per second. The blue flower pendant that Powder was spinning at the end of the episode is one of those "image hidden inside another image and it has Ekko's and Powder's silhouettes in the flower, facing away from each other. The fan ship of Ekko and Powder/Jinx is called "Time Bomb" because of each of their themes. Also, Rana is right. Scruffy Jayce is hot.

Except he wasn't complicit in any of it. Yeah it was happening under his nose but he is at most guilty of being naive. You speak about him like he ran the council, but he didn't. They voted on everything. There was a whole opera sequence that showed all of the wheeling and dealing and corruption happening in the council with heimerdinger unaware. You can't be complicit in things you have no idea are happening. The show has shown on multiple occasions that heimerdinger was the one who was keeping it all in check. Literally everything he has done has been for the people. What did he do the MOMENT he saw what was going on in the undercity? He gave up his cushy retirement to go live amongst them and help. I don't know what show you were watching, my dude but like...none of that is accurate. Also he wasn't fine with abandoning people. He literally said "I don't think there's a way we can possibly make this work." He was there for like three years and was making the best of what he had. Your bias is leading you to some super weird conclusions.

It was so cute to see Ekko nervous cause its his first kiss but the parallel universe Power and Ekko are already together, so he asked to pretend like its their first time. So good.

I totally forgot Heimerdinger was an actual magical creature, and not just a random beast species, honestly that makes his "death" more easier to process knowing he'll literally respawn at some point in time lol

#SundayRundown Literally Heimerdinger is the most complicit character in the series. He was the one that let the undercity fester this whole time. And when he first met Ekko in the alternate universe, he was there how long?? Completely fine with abandoning people that need him in the universe where he was from… While Ekko completely jumped to the fact that people need him and he has to go back no matter how much he wanted to stay. Ekko is the hero in Arcane. This whole episode is a heartbreaking “what-if/ what-could’ve-been.”

Guys, Heimerdinger is definitely dead. Like 100% dead. His kind can't really like die die, and his essence is eventually going to reform in his home but like there's no telling how long that will take. But he for sure died. Also this episode kind of sold me that the darkest timeline is Jayce's fault. Like you see in the darkest timeline that Jayce clearly stood in opposition to Viktor. It's a detail nobody is really talking about but jayce got the hammer from his other self. That was that timeline's Jayce who was wielding his hammer against viktor when whatever happened to destroy this timeline happened. Just like how in our timeline, Viktor was fine and helpful and refused to use other people's lives for the sake of the final glorious evolution UNTIL Jayce betrayed him, showing viktor once again the weakness humanity is capable of. And that's when everything turned to shit. Like I know the show is saying something completely different, but I maintain there is enough evidence in the text to build a good argument for what I'm saying haha

Ekko a real one for leaving that timeline even when he had so many reasons to stay. He and Powder were so beautiful together.

A time travel plot and no Normie saying "timey wimey"? WOAH. But what an episode and final act. Ekko and Powder had strong Miles and Gwen vibes, and not just for the obvious reasons.

Chris K.

Literally so chilling

Kennedy Aneke

This episode was so freaking beautiful.

Smash Bran'Discootch

I think this is the strongest episode of the season. The symmetry and contrast between the two timelines was beautiful.
