they absolutely would, one of my favorite things about this channel is the near guarantee they will run head first into any twist or trick lol

Kendall DeSouza

And that's the end of Rocket's arc! Next is the last one... NIGHTWING'S ARC!!!

#SundayRundown - Angel: The reaction y'all had to Jasmine in the first 2/3rds of the episode makes it seem like you as a group would be very easy to brainwash, lol!

Kristin Carter

Your reaction to Young Justice 4x19 is missing

#SundayRundown Buffy, bruh why they always gotta do my boy spike so dirty, you can really tell how much joss Whedon doesn’t like him, the moment things are going his way bam another gutcheck.

TrixieTurner

#SundayRundown Buffy Okay dawn interrupting the voice over to taze Xander has got to be one of the best moments in the entire show, right up there with the worm mayor saying well gosh. It’s a good way to show the growth of dawn in this final season, she’s really growing up and finally done with everyone’s shit. She’s ready to take charge of her own life, it just so happens in this instance taking charge means tazing Xander in the neck. Poor Xander first he lost an eye and now this, he definitely poopooed in his pants.

#SundayRundown Feel free to read this to anyone present. The best part of the Green Lanterns is that every member who receives the ring is theoretically better than the lantern who wore it before. It's literally a system that will always choose someone more worthy to hold the ring than the previous wielder. That's primarily the reason that even seemingly 'unworthy' people are able to keep the ring.

#SundayRundown #Buffy and also #Angel ? Fun little detail, but did you guys notice that there was a symbol outside the temple, on top of the entrance? It looks a lot like the assembled totem pieces that the Beast (on Angel) took from the Ra-Tet members in order to do the ritual to blot out the sun. Not sure if the writers ever addressed it but It feels to me that maybe they were trying to connect the 2 shows a lot more in terms of worldbuilding, and maybe they intended to introduce the scythe a lot earlier in the season but for some reason it didn't turn out that way. But seeing as the Ra-Tet are based on Ancient Egyptian culture and this scythe and this pyramid like temple also pre-date Christianity (like Ancient Egypt), would've been cool to connect those stories somehow.

Wouldn't put too much into the Bangel kiss. That's hhow they basically greet each other at this point. They frenchie each other as friends and I think that's beautiful

Chris K.

Yeah that shocked me too, I had no idea he was in this.

The writers wanted a way to limit Willow because she was too powerful. They came up with Willow being hesitant to use magic lest she go Dark Willow again. They wrote themselves into a corner with her power level, so they had to find a way to nerf her. In Angel, her power is precisely needed to solve the problem and she has to contend with Jasmine. It’s only a one time get out of jail free card, so they didn’t have the same constraints as the Buffy writers.

Ren Davis

I don't get Willow when she's on about the locator spell making her roots black, it always confuses me this season. She's shooting out spells left and right without a care in Angel yet she struggles to float a candle on Buffy? It's so confusing :/

Sarah

I like how Buffy and the gang were both right. Caleb was hiding something and Buffy did need to go get it. But she could only really get it by going by herself and just dodging the whole time. If they gang would have gone back again and fought they would have just lost again.

‘Justussy’ is hilarious

Zee

I forgot how hard this episode went

#SundayRundown (Young Justice) (For Rana; glad to see you start season 2! I know the Aqualad moment was crazy for you lol. FYI, Beast Boy & M’Gann aren’t blood relatives... technically. She gave him a blood transfusion which is why he can shape shift into animals. His mom was the woman from the show “Hello Megan” that she based a lot of her traits after) Yo, this episode was HEAT. It’s one of those gem episodes that doesn’t get spoken about as much but man. The dialogue, the character development plus that dope ass battle was just fire. All the diverse characters and abilities from Orion to Rocket, the bugs, Lanterns, Jay Garrick/OG Flash, the Martians and of course the Kryptonians. Orion beat Dru Zod’s ASS 🤣. That boy got a whooping his momma or daddy never had a chance to give him. RIP Tomar-Re 🫡. It was dope to see Lady Forager become the new Lantern & Rocket was such a nice character to follow this arc. I loved how they connected this arc to the next one with Zatanna saying “I need a detective”. It’s time for Nightwing to bring everyone together & wrap this season up!

Zee

#RundaySundown Buffy . Buffy returns but you can see she is not putting herself as leader like she did before. She is completely understanding about Faith and why those things happened with the potentials. She learned from what happened and she has returned to less aggressive buffy.

#Sunday rundown Buffy: As much as loved the relationship between Buffy and Angel, I have to admit that kiss was pretty much fan-service with the show ending and Angel being a regular in Buffy in seasons 1-3. Faith getting a chance to lead gave her perspective on how Buffy’s life can be everyday. She finally understands her (more-so than when she switched bodies with her in S4). I just love that there’s a certain level of respect for each other, in a lot of ways I’ve always thought they were similar even if you disregard them both being slayers. They’re both no-nonsense women who always put their foot down whenever necessary. If I were Willow I’d just use whatever power I have, dark or light, I don’t care. An apocalypse is coming sis, you’ve got bigger problems than going dark 🤷🏽‍♂️. #Sunday rundown Angel: Let’s all worship Jasmine! She brings an interesting philosophical edge to the show and can’t wait to see you guys’ reaction. I know you’ve already finished the season but is what she proposed so bad to what we have now? 🤔

R3v1v4L

(Angel) Jasmine’s ability to control people after they see her feels very unsettling. She turns everyone around her into a “Stepford wife.” Between this, the zombie episode, the Beast, and the prevailing sense of dread, this apocalypse seems much more apocalyptic than the other Buffyverse apocalypses. Definitely has the strongest horror sensibilities compared to the other seasons.

Buffy Sunday Rundown I am Rana during this scene 😭 "I've lived for sodding ever Buffy. I've done everything. Done things with you I can't spell. But.. I've never been close. To anyone. Least of all you. Until last night." Spike saying this really brings his complex character full circle. Human William was such a hopeless romantic. He was shy, insecure Mama's boy. The one girl (Cecilee) he crushed over, told him he was 'beneath her'. Which directly lead to him getting sired by Drusilla that very night. As a vampire he loved Drusilla, but of course without a soul, that was a different kind of love. A toxic, obsessed, self-serving love. Same when he claimed to love Buffy in late season 5 and throughout season 6. But still without a soul, this was more of an obsession. But now with a soul, he's finally able to experience a genuine connection with someone he romantically loves for the first time in his entire existence. To me, there's a lot to like in the first and third trimesters of this season. (Not so much the middle) But overall, Spuffy really carries season 7. Also thank you to all The Normies for this amazing Buffy experience!!! I hope you guys do some kind of favorite season/episode/character list among the group 😆 would love to see your answers. But nonetheless, thank you all so much!!!

Young Justice #SundayRundown Yeah this episode slapped, and slapped hard. I completely forgot that Orion beat the ever living shit outta Lor-Zod and I could not contain how much I was enjoying it, what a brilliant way to use his claustrophobia to his advantage. Speaking of Lor, his path also finally crossed with the legion, resulting in their capture unfortunately, but they were able to reawaken Phantom Girl before they got caught. Things have gotten complicated for our little gang of time travellers, setting up quite the finale. As for Tomar-Re, he previously failed to save Krypton, which needs no explanation to us. So to see him save a planet and pass on his mantle was a pretty amazing end to a character we barely knew. I thought Suraj made a good point that his will in death was strong enough to save the planet because he *chose* to sacrifice himself, committing completely to the cause with one last wish, a literal will. I was also not expecting to love the Rocket arc this much, and there could not had been a more perfect segue to the last arc, since we need to solve a mystery.

iman

It's not a double drop?????

Thee Chronicle

The show took the comic and turned it into a procedural with the devil as the gimmick. Very fun for what it is, but the comic is a much different entity.

Ren Davis

Rana’s reaction to Angel returning was priceless 😂 “Daddy’s homeeeeee!!!!!” Love it 🤣 And that sweet sweet Slayer zanpakuto was amazing 🤤. Wish it was introduced a little earlier.

Ren Davis

Doctor Fate's helmet comes with a push-up bra 🤷‍♂️

Smash Bran'Discootch

I cannot believe that was Sam Witwer in the Angel episode, who is deformed by Jasmine! I absolutely didn't recognize him at all. He is also in Being Human. He's a vampire and soo reminds me of Angel.

Ariel17

Damn, i thought we were gonna get a Buffy double to finish it on Halloween lol.

Shockzz1234

#SundayRundown Young Justice The Green Lanterns do have a battery that they recharge but will also affects their constructs. It isn’t that they have no upper limit, the strength of their will IS their limit - stronger wills manifest stronger constructs. Or you could say someone with stronger will could do more with the same amount of power. I think Suraj isn’t completely off with how he interpreted Tomar-Re’s death, you’re both right. There was a choice of where to allocate power, but the fact that he was able to contain that amount of power even as he died demonstrates just how determined he was to save the planet.

Mzuka

lol one day Rana as you are reading comics you should read the actual Lucifer comic story, its really good 75 issues ran from 2000-2006 by Mike Carey and artists Peter Gross and Ryan Kelly the same author and artists for the entire run which is really rare, its a great self contained story. I think you'd love it its not the same as the show but iirc from what I saw of the show the basic elements from the comic did make it into it. i.e the night club Lux his faithful "servant" Mazikeen, his rival Amenadiel etc. but so so much better then the show imo.

Macs

Buffy’s face when she saw Angel was priceless. Her eyes and smile said it all. They are drawn to each other and will always have a connection no matter how much time passes.

Alison

Just watched the Angel reaction- so fun, and it only gets funner (beyond this episode, as you already know, and season). Would it be possible to drop some extra Angel early for those of us who like to watch it in the order you've watched it/the crossover order? 😬 🥺

Alexis Cardarella

#sundayrundown just to clarify, Tomar-Re mentioned in the previous episode that Krypton was in his sector (under his jurisdiction) as a Green Lantern, and that he blamed himself for not being able to save their world. He said this after hearing about Superboy's death, which led him to reflect on his past failure, which led to this moment where he tried to atone for it.

ChipHand_Z

#SundayRundown I really love Spike and Spuffy despite all of the complicated things surrounding their dynamic and even though the kiss with Angel pissed me off originally, this is literally what they do and who they are. They reunite and sword fight with their tongues. That’s the whole point of Angel leaving. They’ll always want to be together. They just can’t.

Nathan

"Daddy's home" lol relatable Rana. Also, gotta agree about that bangle kiss, It somewhat makes sense (they have so much history and will always have a lot of love for each other) but at the same time so much has changed and they've both loved since then, so It does feel a bit out of place. Anyhoo, exited for the final next week.

#sundayrundown They really put their Justussy in this episode of YJ. So many deep cuts to the DC universe. Tomar-Re "failed" to protect Krypton (part of his space sector), making this a weird full circle moment for him. Kilowog holding Tomar-Re's body is an homage to the death of Supergirl in the comics, with Superman holding Supergirl's body. It was recently reiterated that YJ is not cancelled by Nolan North (Superboy's VA), take that what you will. I really hope they continue this show because this episode paints exactly what the show excels at. We had New Gods, Green Lanterns, Kryptonians, Martians, time travel/Legion of Superheroes, Milestone characters, Golden Age characters (Jay Garrick flash), all sorts of mystical characters of varying notoriety. I know you guys are basically set on the DCAMU next, but hopefully you can go back to the old Justice League cartoon, YJ has a similar feel to it when it involves all corners of the DC universe.

Charlie Maletich

Epic YJ episode.

Rishi Shukla

With all the Green Lantern related stuff in the last few episodes of Young Justice (which they seem to be interested in and enjoy) I would love to see them watch the short Green Lantern Animated Series. It was such a good show. I wish I would have watched it live. I didn't check it out until after it was done and it was fantastic.

Chris Skalicky

Its almost over Buffy fans, its been fun.
