Apparently it was a snake performer/pet, and when Tom Savini asked to borrow it, the owner didn’t know that they were going to kill it. It was honestly really fun watching this with people who hadn’t seen it before or gotten spoiled. This first movie especially is kind of a slog to get through on rewatches, but that was a blast! Hope y’all at least get to The Final Chapter. 😄🙏
