So, they're now getting a 2nd chance at a 1st impression for the new manager. They think if maybe they sucked up to Michael early on, laughed at his jokes, been friend with him, etc. Then they would be able to reap the benefits and take advantage. Michael is all they've ever known as a boss.. And of course Deangelo isn't Michael, so it may not be as well received 😆

I see where Pat's coming from about the office sycophanting to Deangelo. A little bit is ok but they were all doing it way too much.

2024-09-24 16:31:53 +0000 UTCI've seen similar things happen in real life in kitchens people get laser focused on one thing they aren't in tune with the rest of the kitchen at all and things like this happen, someone starts talking to anyone and everyone how they've cooked a perfect whatever and it's like "dude no-one cares do you not see what's going on here? Just get back to your station holy fuck" then again Marcus' character is one who's suppose to be a well trained and experienced cook so idk it is a bit contrived

The guy literally heard carmy yelling in the kitchen all ep and he somehow didn’t read the temperature and asked him to sample a cake in the middle of all that? It felt so forced. They are both at fault but ultimately carmy is more at fault. It’s not like they hit a customer so i can see his reaction being too crazy and that type of energy can affect all of the workers more negatively long term. But i agree witb you they don’t have 0 blame.
