Hu Yue’s right leg was stuck on a seaweed. It wasn't visible to the others because seaweeds were blocking the view.
The feeling of being stuck made her lose control. Several seconds later, she would visibly started to panic, covering her mouth with her hand. A lot of bubbles seeped out from her fingers. Her eyes suddenly went blank. Of course because of that, the crew finally noticed.
But you noticed it a lot sooner. Because of your position, you could clearly saw Hu Yue’s legs. Immediately you swam towards her. Her blank eyes looked at you as they were screaming for help. You answered by making an OK sign.
You took out you army knife from your diving jacket. With a quick move, you cut the seaweed, releasing Hu Yue. The other divers didn’t waste any time and give Hu Yue air that she really needed. Her face when taking the regulator was visibly very relieved.
After that, the photoshoot was over. On the boat, Hu Yue still looked quite pale, so the paramedics were checking if there was anything wrong. Even though you sat far from that crowd, you’re still curious if she was okay.
But then surprisingly Hu Yue glanced at you. You first thought she was looking elsewhere, but she was not. As the paramedics were asking questions, Hu Yue didn’t pay attention to them and instead nod her head slightly towards you. You could only reply with the same slight head nod, while thinking she’s probably okay.
