Chapter 5 Ruby Rose

“Let’s go, we can't stay here for much longer, we need to help everyone.”

Jaune had a dream. He wanted to be a hero but he was as weak as a shrimp in the ocean but now he was a dragon. He can be whatever he had dreamed of!

With his power as the flood dragon and the technique to kill demons from demon slayer world and a little bit of potions from many worlds. He was a force to be reckoned with.

Jaune starved for experience in fighting. right now he felt very high. No one can stop him.

Except.

“Hump. Don’t be cocky, Human!”

A red powerful energy shot towards him. He did a backflip then swung his spear to destroy the red energy with his water strike.

“Who?”

Jaune looked at the one who attacked him. He had red hair and was wearing a blindfold. In his hand is a red katana with a bright red aura.

He’a bull faunus named Adam Taurus.

Blake who followed Jaune with the others saw who the man was. She was shocked and took a few steps back.

The man that was focused on Jaune now looked at her. He smiled.

“Finally meet after a long time. Blake”

Weiss, who was near her, couldn’t help but speak to Blake.

“That’s your ex, right. The ex-maniac that you’ve been warning us about how psychopath he is”

Blake could only nod now her nightmare had reached her. She needed to do something about him but before she could start to make anything in her mind.

Jaune spoke up first.

“You are with the terrorist right. Then I have to beat you up and go to help other people.”

Jaune after fighting for sometime now could tell that the man wasn’t ordinary. and maybe he could pose a threat to him. but that's what he needed right now.

Ciel was an ever helpful system. She bought some kind of red potion for him. It wasn’t for healing but for something else.

Jaune believe Ciel. He then drank the potion. He felt an overwhelming power slowly spread through his body.

He will never underestimate his enemy. Even a tree could kill you if you were not ready.

Dying by splashing into a tree left something severed in his head.

Adam wasn’t concerned about Jaune drinking something. To him this human was just good at using the spear and that’s all. With his semblance he could counter Jaune easily.

Jaune with his speed increase about 20% wasn’t to be trifled with. Adam now was surprised how fast the human can be.

And when Jaune was close to him. He felt that Jaune wasn’t human at all!

“What the hell are you!”

He wasn’t human and he also wasn’t faunus. He was something else entirely!

Adam tried to defend against the barrage of attack from him. He could absorb some energy that emit from his spear but.

“*Cough* What's energy is this. It’s too violent!”

Adam had to release the energy as soon as he absorbed it. If he let it run through his body. He might explode and die instantly.

His moonslice was powerful when using the energy he absorbed from Jaune. But it couldn’t do anything to Jaune at all.

Jaune didn’t stop the attack. He will finish Adam quickly.

But Adam wasn’t some third rate terrorist. In fact he is the big boss. He could counter him and slowly but surely get the hang of how he fights.

“Is that all you can do? If so, then it’s very disappointing.”

Blake felt despair. She thought that a monster like Jaune would be able to fight Adam. But who would have thought that Adam would be stronger.

Qrow, who was watching the fight from above the ground, didn't say anything. Adam was strong but he knew that the kid was stronger.

“Well, no, duh.”

Jaune replied with a smirk.

Adam felt something was wrong. Jaune in front of him slowly disappeared into a mist.

“Where the hell is he gone to?”

Adam who was trying to look for Jaune in the mist. He heard his voice. He knew right away that he was in serious danger.

Jaune performs a multitude of slashes in a flowing fashion to release multiple consecutive water blade slashes.

Adam was trying to defend against the turbulence of water strikes. His aura could tank almost all of the strike but.

The last strike the spear slash through his aura and cut his guts. Blood flow of his wound. He kneeled on the floor coughing up blood.

He knew that he was seriously injured. He would die if he didn’t receive medical treatment in time.

Jaune actually won the first ever boss fight. If he could call fighting with Adam Taurus the big boss of the terrorist as the boss fight then. It’s good.

Even though he cheated a little bit, who cares. Fighting for the good cause cheating a little bit wouldn’t hurt anyone. instead it might prevent someone from feeling pain.

Like a certain cat faunus who was now hugging the life out of him.

“Thank you! Thank you so much!”

She didn’t seem scared of him anymore. not only that. He thought that she might have a crush on him… Nah, That’s not gonna happen, someone like her would never fall in love with someone she just met.

“Eh…You’re welcome…”

Jaune didn’t hug back, he just stood there and let her hug him. when she sued him for sexual harassment he could defend himself in the court!

After she hugged him long enough for her teammate to butt in. So she agreed to let him go.

He sighed and then looked at Qrow who smirks at him now.

“What”

“Nothing kid. Well I think we should go now. There are still many grimm and white fangs we need to beat.”

Jaune nodded then looked back to where Adam was now lying in his own blood.

“And what about him?”

“Let him die, please.”

Blake begged Jaune. She knew he was a good person by nature. Even though he had a very scary smell. However, his scent was no longer scary to her. His scent was mesmerizing.

She was afraid he would feel sorry for Adam and try to help him.

Adam did too many nightmarish things to be allowed to live.

Jaune nodded. He didn’t have the thought to help him in the first place. He knew right away when they fought that Adam had even deeper hatred for humans than even the tiger faunus he killed.

“Then let’s go”

Jaune then moved towards where he thought would be the next place that was full of grimm and white fangs.

And that place was the highest place in this school. The Beacon Tower.

Everything was falling.

Ruby Rose was now trying to fight Roman Torchwick and his companion Neo Napolitan. but it was meaningless. She was losing.

She can’t beat the two of them at the same time.

But somehow before she was thrown out of the air ship that flew high in the sky to her luck. She somehow could touch Neo's umbrella and the wind then took her away.

She was about to be killed by Roman after that but he got eaten by the grimm griffon first.

“What a luck”

She had to admit to herself that she was very lucky. She didn't die right there.

She then jumped off the air ship and used her landing strategy. She was now at Beacon avenue. She saw her teammate and partner Weiss and Blake. The two now follow her uncle and an unknown young man who was very good at using his spear.

Ruby when she saw the spear that the young man used she couldn’t stop herself from admiring the god craft spear!

She then tried to control herself to land near them but. A big griffon wanted to eat her.

“Oh no. I can’t dodge it!”

She couldn’t change her trajectory right now. and when she feared that, like Roman, she would become dinner for the griffon. She couldn’t help but close her eyes and accept her fate.

“No you don’t eat pretty girls when I am around.”

She heard a young man's voice. When she opened her eyes, she noticed that the young man she saw was hugging her. and on his other hand was his spear thrusting towards the grimm griffon and killing it effortlessly.

After killing it. The handsome young man looked at her while they were falling down at high speed.

“Hi”

The young man greeted her awkwardly. She felt like she and him would be great friends, maybe the two of them didn’t have normal knees.
