Over time I've grown to like Kill Bill Vol. 2 slightly more for numerous reasons. The direction and film making is slightly better in 2; which makes a big difference.

2024-03-31 12:02:28 +0000 UTCill be honest, a ton of Tarantino involves monologue, so if you don't like when a character talks a bunch, you might not have a good time with these movies. That being said, I agree. Bill's monologue isn't very good. Great example of a monologue is Sam Jackson's Ezekiel 25:17 speech at the end of Pulp Fiction. Hopefully yall will have a better time with the rest of Tarantino's movies.

Anyways, I’m not a big Tarantino fan but I do like Inglorious Bastards for showcasing Europe so I’m somewhat excited for that reaction.

2024-03-30 18:22:12 +0000 UTCJust one other thing to say about Kill Bill watch the deleted scene with Michael Jay White, I think just looking up Kill Bill deleted scene would be enough to find it. I understand why it wasn't included in the movie but its a great scene all on its own its just before Bill takes Kiddo to see Pai Mei, and you might get a kick out of seeing Bill in action also him being a ruthless bastard.

2024-03-30 17:12:17 +0000 UTCSo there is this theory which makes a lot of sense, no-one ever confronts Bud, Bills brother directly, because he is the most lethal of them all. Sure the Bride almost does but even then she comes up in a stealth attack which fails horribly. With O-ren (Cottonmouth) and Verinta Green (Copperhead) she comes directly at them. Bud is taken out by trickery, if you watch the scene with Elle (california mountain snake), and Bud in the trailer she could supposedly just take him out she's got a hanzo sword in her hands he's unarmed and he even offers his back to her more then a few times, like he's daring her to try it, in short the theory is that Bud was actually the most dangerous of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, of course he's the only one who defeats the bride as well. For all of them his code name (Sidewinder) seems the most fitting, apart from The Brides of course
