Also fun fact, the bully in the flashback who you guys thought was Kreese is actually Martin Koves (Kreese) son in real life.

Also Gordon really needed a friend to learn on and Batman was never very good at being open with anyone. That's why Gordon befriended Clayface's hand which was so weird until Harley convinced Bats that he needed to be a true open friend to Gordon.
