Does Navi ever acknowledge how confidently wrong she was about Choso and Yuji not being related? It was a bit frustrating to hear her downplay Suraj's hunch that they may be brothers. If you're going to have an unwavering stance, make sure you actually confirm you are right. Yikes.

2024-01-01 20:46:10 +0000 UTCCan you not read? I thought I made it pretty clear that I got Todo and Toji confused. Struggling with reading comprehension there yourself, bud?

2023-12-30 06:03:51 +0000 UTCDamn son, you could have just said you lack comprehension skills and we all would have helped you. But you had to show your ass here 😞 there were no spoilers here.

2023-12-29 08:52:44 +0000 UTCYou guys touched on this a lot but I think you overlooked something in regards to "what they're doing" about the situation. The announcment revealing cursed energy, and only saying it was limited to Tokyo, as well as those notices at the end were all likely actually methods of reducing the speed of expansion. 1. If people just randomly found that damage to Shinjuku there would be uncontrolable speculation and panic likely to spread it through out the country near instantly. So they chose to explain Cursed Energy 2. Telling them the cause was only possible in Tokyo and evacuating is likely slowing down the spread because people are now focused on that area and feel safer the farther they are. 3. I think Chris was pretty on point with the reasoning for those character updates and blame at the end. I would add that from their POV even IF they can recover Gojo they likely don't know if he actually CAN completely fix the issue nor do they have any guaruntee that he actually even would as they clearly could never actually control him, so there's no reason to pretend otherwise. Even if somewhere someone is still prioritizing his recovery should he "go rougue" he is actually a Sukuna level threat by himself. Though Geto still would have caused MASSIVE casualties alone the physical destruction of Shinjuku is absolutely Gojo's fault for his choices regarding Itadori. Absolutely LOVED this season of JJK. I'd have to say my only real issue thus far has actually been Tsukumo Yuki. Right now it sounds like her whole approach was "let this play out", when she seems to have had a pretty good idea of what was going on for some time. This show has been really good about closing dumb plot points so far so we'll see how they use her going forward. Glad you Normies have enjoyed it too.

2023-12-29 03:34:30 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown Finally ep. 22 reveals Choso and Itadori are blood-related by way of Kamo Noritsoshi(Brainymaru) and the running theory in the JJK fandom about the fake memories is that Choso’s mind created them in an attempt to process the information that his technique’s side-effect revealed about Itadori’s blood-relation to him in the best/quickest way that makes sense to Choso that stops him from killing his family. Super excited for winter 2025(I’m guessing that’s when we see the next arc animated). I promise you, if you thought the techniques we’ve seen so far are wild, your minds will melt next arc.

2023-12-29 03:11:24 +0000 UTCMy bad. Got Todo and Toji mixed up. That's on me.
Jon
2023-12-29 02:16:26 +0000 UTCThat ain't a spoiler. The first time we see her is in one of Todo's flashbacks in S1. They both ask what's your type when they meet someone. It's pretty obvious that she's Todo's master.

2023-12-29 01:54:13 +0000 UTCWell I’ll take it! Excellent!

2023-12-29 01:51:14 +0000 UTCMoreso you being dumb, as this was established in season 1.

2023-12-29 01:48:01 +0000 UTCNot a spoiler. They showed that in the anime when we first met Todo

2023-12-29 01:43:33 +0000 UTCIs it too much to ask Navi not to spoil stuff? "She's the one who taught Todo"? Like that should be pretty easy not to do, right? I'm really trying not to be too mean, but damn I'm mad if that's an actual spoiler and not her being dumb. Oh my god I got Todo and Toji confused. Heck. My bad Navi.

2023-12-29 01:39:34 +0000 UTC#SundayRundown #JJK - To clear things up a bit Mei Mei and her Younger brother UiUi have a binding vow where Mei Mei basically controls UiUi curse energy this is why in that bed scene Mei Mei asked if UiUi is "worn out". You can see in the scene UiUi had his clothes on so nothing bad happened thought it was easy to assume that it did. Remember Mei Mei is very greedy and doesn't have a problem using people if it mean she gains something in return (her curse techique is to use crows as weapons) so that includes even her brother.

2023-12-29 01:35:47 +0000 UTCSo he marked two types of people. One of the groups of people were fed cursed objects and their bodies were altered by idle transfiguration to be better suited as vessals for the cursed object. The second group of people that were marked had cursed techniques, but their brains were altered so they could use cursed energy since they wouldn't be able to use the technique if they couldn't use cursed energy.

2023-12-29 01:29:09 +0000 UTCWhere is the edited version, I want to hear the discussion and speculation about next season? . I'm expecting the USA, China, maybe Russia to created a blockade around the entirety of Japan to stop any curses from leaving. Can someone explain fake Geto's plan without spoiling future events? I'm not sure I understand what he did with the remote idle transfiguration.

2023-12-28 23:27:08 +0000 UTCProbably my favorite modern shonen arc of all time. Up there with Chimera Ant arc, Yorknew, the Chuunin exams and Pain arc IMO. I felt like it was just non stop tension, horror, despair, more despair, even more despair, THEN TODO ARRIVES AND WE HAVE HOPE, then some more despair, then HOPE! Then back to holy shit what do we even do now? What a wild ride. It was great seeing all of you so into this season. Quick tidbits: The OP for the last episode had a quick glimpse of Yuta in it. The notices for keeping Gojo sealed made sense. The "conservatives" in charge of Jujutsu society hate Gojo and how much power he has and the fact that Gojo hates them too. They used this opportunity to make sure he does not get unsealed so they no longer have to deal with him. The principal gets lumped in with him as well. Can't wait to see season 3. They announced today that its coming. Hopefully 2025 or later. They need time to cook. What Choso was saying about Yuji was that fake Geto had been body swapping for hundreds, if not thousands of years and we still don't know anything about Yuji's parents. The possibility that Fake Geto somehow gave birth to Yuji and thus is related to Choso is what he was talking about. #SundayRundown
