2023-12-02 04:07:25 +0000 UTCNot a fan of Nobara but her death felt really cheap. She literally just stood there and watched the guy run half the length of a football field and slap her in the face. She knows how dangerous Mahito is and she knows he can make clones. Seeing Itadori was a lame excuse for her to let her guard down against an enemy that can kill her just by touching her. But yeah, I guess she's dead. Once they give you the Naruto/Demon Slayer sob story flashback, its over for you. lol Also, I'm assuming some of the characters in Nobara's flashback will be relevant later. Otherwise, I'm not sure why they dedicated nearly half an episode to those characters. While I think the anime has done a lackluster job of getting you to care for the main 3 protagonists, props to the author for having the guts to kill off one of the main protagonists. That's one of my biggest complaints about MHA. There's a whole school of high school students and not one of them has died? I'm not implying that killing off characters automatically makes a story better, but with all the things that the students have been through in MHA, I think it's a bit unreasonable that not one student has died yet. Anyway, I don't see how our protagonists will survive this arc without freeing Gojo or some type of deus ex machina. I hope it's the former.

2023-12-01 20:58:31 +0000 UTCwhen saw X came out there was a eye trap that would pull out the eyes (stay with me this will be relevent ) there was a bit of debate on if you could surivve that trap. some people thought you could the driector had to draw a diagram and post it on twitter to explain some grey matter will come out with your eye. our eyes are connected to a part of the brain we mostly need need . so even if Nobara survives her eye being blown out she wont be the same. not to mention whatever it did to her soul

2023-12-01 01:32:48 +0000 UTCLove that Navi called it out, because it actually really bothered me to get that flash back from someone else's pespective (and not even at least Saori). About the chair thing though, it's from a line at the end of S1 where Nobara and Yuji kill Chozou's siblings. Nobara basically tells Yuji that she cannot feel sad for every tragic thing that happens because she only has so many seats for people to be considered important in her life. Then there are people like Yuji who bring their own. Don't know if there's any other abstract or cultural meaning to it though. Lastly this episode countered my earlier criticism of the Principal Yaga and Ieri. They can't see the destruction from outside the veil.
