Wake the fuck up
Committing crime doesn’t mean you’re a horrible person or make you a horrible person
Poverty is the leading factor in crime production and also leads to lack of safety and job options
More people are living pay check to paycheck in America than ever before, more are homeless than ever before
Corporations own Millions of buildings in Baltimore just for the property so they won’t let homeless people stay there (when in fact there are 10x more vacant properties than there are homeless)
Poverty means you have no place to go and no transportation and no resources to help family dealing with medical emergencies
I was homeless in highschool and house hopped 6 times in 4 years, have been subjected to violence and have lost/hurt teeth which has financially ruined me trying to save my mouth
I had to sleep in a vacant owned by the city with no water or electricity
I’m wasn’t a homeless person, I was a PERSON who was homeless
You are fucking clueless and probably a little racist bitch

Corey Wallace…Spike is attractive? Lol. I guess it’s the age thing for me. I could clearly tell the actor who played Spike was almost 40. Buffy in her early 20s and it just never clicked for me as Buffy/Spike hot couple potential. Just my observation though.

@Tony this is where nuance comes into play, and viewers with limited mental capacity, like you, get confused. Spike has shown compassion, but LIMITED compassion for those he is infatuated with. He has shown empathy, but it doesn't bother him. And self-awareness? I mean, about as much self-awareness as a 2 year old toddler. And showing emotion through crying, is that supposed to be an action exclusive to healthy or kind people? You've never see convicted cold murderers cry at sentencing? We've seen vampires as far back as the Master show similar emotions for, say, Darla, even crying when she dies. You just haven't really paid attention.

Xander bringing up that she had a crush on him isn’t weird, we know he’s had low self esteem his whole life and dawns crush on him was always an ego boost to him. Angel: This episode was a well intentioned but, yeah, flawed. Not a surprise considering it was written by a white liberal man in the early aughts. To me it was annoying when they used Gunn to play as strong of a devil's advocate as he did with the kids, implying at least some of the force was likely provoked, and then with that one guy with the whole, “guys like you give us a bad name” shit. Then that thing Kate said about there being less murders and rape when they pulled that zombie cop shit, and ending their discussion of the topic there. So dumb.
Like some of you touched on, there are other ways of combating crime, namely through prevention, and that comes through a livable wages, affordable housing and healthcare, and other resources. The less resources you have met, the more crime people will resort to. Police brutality and murder is not in any way a means that justifies the ends, and it certainly doesn’t get to the source of shit. At the end of the day, under capitalism, the police serve the ruling class and their property, and the US in particular are trained to be reactive instead of de-escelative, require the least training by far compared to other western countries, and are the most militarized. A lot of street cops in the Europe can't even carry guns around. Damn this would have been a great episode to have Chris on the couch.

One thing to always keep in mind with ships like Spuffy that it's not reality, it's just a show. Ship them however much you want (I do, too) as long as you are able to separate fiction from reality. They’re intriguing and much more interesting to watch than a ship like Buffy/Riley. Also, keep in mind that in Spike's case, he has no soul and is a vampire driven by violence and killing innocents. Just like Angel without a soul is a disgusting sadist.

#SundayRundown #Buffy Spike is such a great character one of the best in the series but i think you guys tend to forget 1 very important thing about him, Spike has No Soul (no spoilers but this is actually important for context into the character). Spike's actions are driven solely by Impulse with 0 impulse control so there is no conscience telling him what's right or wrong(in this universe the Soul repersents your conscience). The chip in Spike's brain has more so domesticated him instead of say replaced his Soul, so the only reason Spike does anything that would be considered "Good" is only because he realy has no options to do anything "Evil" as the chip would stop him. In a lot of ways Spike is trapped in his own body (he lacks free will) not being allowed to be his "True Self" (which in this case would be a Mass Murdering Vampire) and that is why he behaves in the manner he does.

I like to think the zombie cops in this weeks Angel were a metaphor for a type of policing not quite as dead and buried as most in early 2000’s thought or hoped it was.
As for Buffy, it’s funny how certain everyone seems to be that they’re setting up a Buffy/Spike relationship(I’ll avoid any further opinions/clarifications since I don’t want to indicate either way if they’re right or wrong).

#SundayRundown Because Spike is a vampire without a soul his version of love is a pretty twisted one. Love, hate, obsession all walk hand in hand with each other for Spike, to a human though this kind of love is horrible and it’s not the kind Buffy deserves. As a vampire without a soul Spike could never give Buffy what she wants or needs but an important thing to remember is that this isn’t Spikes fault necessarily, it’s just the only way a vampire without a soul could love. How Spike views love has always been the more interesting parts of Buffy to me because Spike also isn’t a normal vampire without a soul, he is capable of caring a lot better than most vampires, and capable of understanding human emotions, that could probably be attributed to him being a poet as a human or maybe something else, but even Joss Whedon confirmed that Spike is an unusual Vampire without a soul because of his ability to sustain his own emotions. Can’t wait for your reactions to the rest of the series!!!

#SundayRundown the reason why the media gave the Justice League the credit for kicking the Reach off earth is because no one outside of the League and the Light knows about the Team’s existence. But there was nothing in the ep with cicile (or whatever) to show he was stalking her, had a secret room dedicated to his obsession, nor did he ever tie her up and threaten to kill her if she refused to admit her "love". #sundayrundown Angel said once that when a human is turned in to a vampire, it also projects part of their human self when it was argued that none of the human remains. It was revealed in a comedy moment. Angel hated his father and wasn't a great human, and thus the raging Angelus came about. Spike on the other hand was a spurned hopeless if not obsessive romantic poet (remember Celcily and his poem "My soul is wrapped in harsh repose"). It makes sense that as a vampire he becomes a pyschotic stalker who becomes obessive over those he 'loves.' He is the ultimate simp and always has been, and was the same with Dru, it just seemed normal as they were both vampires and she was also quite crazy.

You all are spot on in being simultaneously humored & horrified at spikes behavior. Yes spike has a certain sentimentality about him beyond most vampires (probably due to reminants of his human self), BUT Spike's a soulless vampire. The only reference he's had on love was drusilla, so of course his POV on love is unhealthy AF.
Spike is a great character, and is at a very interesting point where he doesn't know who he is or where he fits. He has previously only known or been motivated by two things: killing for sport and being single-mindedly devoted to a woman. For 100 years it was dru & pillaging. Now he cant kill AND he has feelings for a slayer. The show has shown him do a 'good deed' but usually to get credit from buffy.
Presently, I wouldn't say he wants to do good. I would say he doesn't know what he wants.

"Endgame" garnered an average of 2.051 million viewers, making it Cartoon Network's highest rated show of the entire week and the second highest rated episode of the season after "Runaways".
I know channels are in it to make money (and sell toys for their cartoons) BUT I will never forgive CN for cancelling this show. However it did drive the fan base to support the creators - and provide us 2 more seasons to enjoy.
Miss Martian and Superboy were accompanied by Adam Strange when entering Rimbor's courtroom. We of course saw him earlier that season during the space adventure on Rann.
I believed it was edited-out due to time constraints but when asked about the rest of the Runaways, Virgil responds:
STATIC: Well, Arsenal was always more of a solo act. And the others are getting out of the game. Neut went back to his foster family, and Eduardo moved in with his dad. Even Tye went home. I guess his mom's evil boyfriend is out of the picture.
WONDER GIRL: And Asami?
STATIC: She's staying with Tye and his mom. Turns out she and Tye kinda had a thing. And none of us knew.
The Atom perched on Captain Atom's shoulder makes me laugh, they should form their own "atom" club. (the Up and At 'Em Club?)

Sunday Rundown YJ: So you've now hit the season 2 finale, the biggest turning point in the show! This is one of my favorite finales of all time. Wally's death is one of the most heartwrenching deaths in all of television for me, and they set it up the entire season. His sacrifice is basically YJ version of *The Flash sacrifices themselves in a Crisis* (which was popularized by Barry Allen's death in 1985's Crisis on Infinite Earths), basically, when a Crisis goes down, a Flash dies saving the world/universe.
Not only that, but we get the reveal that Savage and Darkseid have been working together the entire time, and makes Savage's plans get more interesting.
Now keep in mind... THIS IS WHEN THE SHOW GOT CANCELLED. IT WAS CANCELLED, AND FIVE YEARS WENT BY UNTIL THE RETURN WAS ANNOUNCED, AND SIX YEARS UNTIL SEASON 3 EPISODE 1. They ended on the biggest cliffhanger imaginable, the death of Wally and the reveal of Darkseid, and then they got cancelled. As a huge YJ fan, it hurt so much, and was one of the many reasons fans campaigned for half a decade without falter or fail, to get the show back. YJ is the best adaptation of the DC Universe as a whole, and I will die on this hill.

Not them all being confused at Spike's behaviour like "ok now its creepy..." he's a SOULESS VAMPIRE lol. his idea of love is twisted passion and obsession.

#SundayRundown
I mean, it's not that shocking that Spike mixes love with obsession. Before his chip, Buffy was still Spike's obsession. He stalked and analysed her, really taking the time to understand her.
Then the chip happened. They fought side by side, forging a sort of trust and reliance, but then Spike's makeout dream happened (truly realising his attraction). Nevertheless, it awakens his "feelings" for her, which continue to grow into a twisted form of obsession. Buffy, totally blindsided and disgusted by Spike's behaviour, tells him numerous times that he doesn't love her, and she's right.
Spike *thinks* he's in love with Buffy, but it's merely lust and obsession. Like Buffy says, "You need a soul to love." Spike can *feel*, but I don't think he or even Drusilla can really and truly feel love like, say, Angel can. 'Cause what is love? Acts of selflessness? Growth, support, respect?
I don't think Spike has done any of those things for Buffy. His "acts of selflessness" are selfish, 'cause he wants her praise and attention. He hasn't grown—not in the ways that matter. He supports her 'cause the chip forces him to. He doesn't respect her (for example, this entire episode. Spike doesn't respect her no's or her boundaries.)
What Spike wants is to sleep with her.
But that's just my two cents :)
