Johnny failed because he’s teaching this kid a strike first, strike hard, no mercy mentality which then allowed Miguel to pull a kids arm hitting his weak spot when the kid was doing nothing but trying to help him up and feeling good about it too. He also failed Hawk because now Hawk is walking around thinking that kicking a kid and dislocating his arm is okay. Both boys don’t realize that those are bitch moves and that’s on Johnny. He’s also trying to force a young man to look at Daniel and anyone associated with him as “enemies” and only chose now to feel bad about it because one of those “enemies” is his son. He’s immature and tried to teach his immaturity to Miguel and during this tournament, it worked.

Nyeisha Melvina Clark

To be honest I don't think you really had that many brain cells to begin with based on the way you structure your arguments my dude

Captain K'nuckles

How did Johnny fail in his relationship with Miguel?

Captain K'nuckles

Man....if only Cobra Kai was getting The Office treatment. Le sigh. We shall see as the Normies get more involved with it. Season 2 is going to be a ride and a half.

Darth Sckolar

Night creatures need a trigger to get their memories back FYI. I love Castlevania's writing it's so fast-paced pace like in any other show it would have taken a whole season for Richter to get his power back

Mexican Stalin

One exception was Ali's mother in Season 3 Ep 9 who was played by a different actress. The original actress was alive back when they filmed it but she recently passed away. Maybe she was sick and unavailable when they filmed?

MARK DESANTIS

Funny that Suraj mentioned Black Panther during the ancestors scene. I was watching Captain America Civil War with RTTV and immediately thought of Nocturne when T'Challa name drops Sekmet 😆

HIM

Lol bro you literally pointed out the one member that isn’t PC (at least if he’s not just playing it up for the camera) and then try to spout some nonsense about 8 different members? Just stop. Obviously they won’t share the exact same views on everything but you’re delusional if you don’t think they present themselves as PC in general. And when I say PC and im not talking about the super exaggerated social justice warrior type. Just that they’ll know basically what’s offensive or not in general today and obviously trying to have broad appeal for the channel they’re generally mindful of it….as evident here when they bring it up as soon as they saw a sunday rundown comment that wasn’t even me lol. And LOL “looking for reasons to complain” buddy, I literally said i only brought this up because they brought it up first in the video. I didn’t say jack shit about it for weeks. How convenient for you to ignore this. It’s hilarious to see you so sensitive and offended on their behalf (and i didn’t even say they were racist, only that this is a slightly offensive gesturee) as if you aren’t just $$ for the channel. Now be quiet because you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m just going to ignore you now because interacting with you is making me lose brain cells.

Veya

Didn't he fight a shadow of Dracula or something I know it wasn't the real Dracula but remembered something about his game

Daniel Gonzalez

#Sundayrundown You guys need to give Johnny more credit lol. He definitely would've cared if Miguel and Hawk were beating on another kid. In the original movie, he was horrified when Kreese told him to sweep Daniels legs, and at the beginning of this episode, he only went hard on the "no mercy" rule because of what happened at the end of episode 9. He's still an a-hole, sure, but he's far from Kreese or Terry. Also, Rana's reaction to Miguel beating Robby was priceless! Miguel was wrong for sure but that's our boy from episode 1 lol I gotta support him. Love the reactions yall!

Cheesey1

Uh last time I checked there's about eight different people in the Normies that all have differing opinions from each other, so I don't even know where you're getting this" presenting as PC" BS from. If the Normies cared about presenting as PC all the time, then Pat probably wouldn't be in any reactions since he has some pretty controversial takes. Your argument literally makes no sense dude. Just looking for reasons to complain....

Captain K'nuckles

We will look into this! Thanks for letting us know.

The Normies

Ok. Maybe just unsub then and return in a few month. I only watch this atm

Morten Stenseth

Lol did I ever say they were being racist? I said it was offensive, and I said “mildly” so at that. I literally brought it up ONCE weeks ago and then never brought it up in subsequent threads until this one when they brought it up themselves. I also said I wouldn’t give a shit if they didn’t present themselves as PC so it’s more the double standards and hypocrisy that annoyed me than anything. You clearly seem like one of those that complain about PC snowflakes yet are so sensitive that you jumped to me calling them racist when I never said they were. I think you’re the one that needs to touch grass.

Veya

If you think the Normies are actually being racist by shouting it then I advise you to go outside and actually touch some grass

Captain K'nuckles

We are going to need double drops of Cobra Kai because there's no way I can wait 10 weeks for the season 2 finale

Scott Labrie

Juste Belmont in Castlevania is a perfect example of the right man born in the wrong era. If you're looking for someone who was a natural successor to Sypha and Travor, this was your guy. Dude was one of the strongest Belmonts, but he never got to make his mark because both in the games, and in the netflix series, there was never a major vampiric event. No Dracula, no army of vampires, no evil cult; Juste Belmont was a big fish in what was a small pond, and when he was out of his prime, that's when evil began to rise again.

Shihi

When you strike gold with a series I think its better to do 1 a week and extend it, Unless the series has a billion eps like naruto

GodUsopp

two a week would be so goooood but I can understand why they dont

ispeckz--

I'm gonna wait a few months to resubscribe for Cobra Kai

Zac Cochrane

Season 2 of Kobra Kia is probably the best one. The others are good but season 1 was set up and season 2 we really get to start seeing storylines and characters develop plus the fight choreo gets better and better every season.

Bryan Lopez

Who won the match?

ispeckz--

You heard the high pitch shout aka the bruce lee thing or you just heard shouts? I heard some shouts during wushu lessons but not regularly and not what they’re doing here. For instance what Miguel did in this episode isn’t what i’m talking about and it’s not what they’re doing in the beginning of the ep. I highly doubt you heard the exaggerated sounds in tae kwon do. I’d be very surprised.

Veya

I'm a black belt in Tae kwon do and have 100% heard people make that sound because the point of the sound is a mental trick to get you just give a little bit more so we didn't care the sound is as long as you did it

Can you watch cobra Kai more frequently?

Morten Stenseth

He wasnt disqualified because you could argue he was trying to pull himself up

GodUsopp

Well Miguel is the best fighter in the show and that's undebatable , Miguel was fighting stupid and the only "cheating" thing he did was pull robbies arm , hitting someones injury is not cheating its the smart move to do and it happens in every sport

GodUsopp

#Sundayrundown if you thought the choreography was good now just you wait, Miguel, Hawk and robbies actors get insanely good at choreography in the off time between season 1 and 2 and they just keep getting better from there

GodUsopp

#Sundayrundown So one thing to note for future reference about Cobra Kai is that anytime someone returns, it is the original actor from the original movies, no one was recasted unless it's a flashback and they're obviously younger.

J. J.

Since Pat brought it up (and you guys have probably finished your binge by now) I will say I do like the OG better than Nocturne, but I do think Nocturne has the potential to get much better going forward. I am also enjoying it more on the second watch through, for some details I missed (or didn't consider) the first time. They don't answer it here but my theory for why Eduar and the other night creatures are so abnormal is because they are very recently dead souls coming back to their place of death (and quite possibly even possessing their orignal bodies). Isaac's "fly eyes" was was a philospher from Athens, and Hector was able to bring back the bishop to make holy water so I think they have the ability to specify the soul if they need to, and the current priest here doesn't know the potential risks.

Benjamin Donahue

Cobra Kai is the best live action anime ever.

Roy Koopa

You are not being racist. Anyone who says you are being racist is a brain dead moron. A hundred likes just means a hundred people are idiots, like those woke white people who think wearing a sombrero is racist, even though actual Mexicans don't have a problem with it.

MPH

@Blake Miguelito also fought mentally nerfed and not fighting smart 😭 Miguel is the better fighter and that’s not an argument 🥇

ispeckz--

#SundayRundown In my opinion, targeting an opponents weakness during a match is fair game. However, pulling on Robby's injured arm between rounds when Robby was trying to help him up? THAT was not only a bitch move, but also cheating which should of got Miguel disqualified. I think the only reason he was only given a warning was cause plot.

Blake

#Sundayrundown As much as we like Johnny and want to root for him, Daniel as well, the fact of the matter is NONE of these men should be teaching kids whatsoever. Neither of them have properly dealt with their own problems to adequately teach children about how to handle things as serious as their emotions. Everything that happened in this tournament was Johnny and Daniel’s fault. Period. Plus I could never truly be okay with Johnny until he man’s up and fixes things with his actual son, instead of trying to have a second chance with Miguel and even then he still failed. Can’t wait for you guys to see the rest of this crazy series. You all will love it I’m sure.

Nyeisha Melvina Clark

Had to cheat to win Robbie is clearly the better fighter taking him on with one arm.

Blake

#Sundayrundown #Cobrakai I'd debate that Johnny would still care if it wasn't his son. In the original film Johnny and another kid both have issues with Kreese when he tells them to pull dirty moves. His friend complains that he'll get disqualified (it's not the coked out kid) and Johnny has the "oh shit" face when Kreese tells him to sweep the leg. To put it in perspective when Kreese is choking Johnny in the parking lot the other kid is the one Kreese hits for trying to stop him. Y'all also giving Sam a lot of outs. She was lying to her Father and keeping Miguel at a certain distance so she helped build up that situation. She screwed up, Miguel screwed up and Robby was caught in the middle.

Rahsaan

"Why does he look so evil??" Because he's John fucking Kreese. He IS so evil.

Jeff K

Been waiting on this episode of Nocturne, did not disappoint!

Ellis Gandy

When they're done

Jjk when

Nathan Kholamian

the audio is incredibly unsynced for castlevania with the video I timed it near perfect and the audio from you guys is a good 2-3 seconds behind

J-or-Dan

Huh, I never left a sunday rundown comment regarding the karate sounds so it must have been someone else lol. But yes it’s mildly offensive, even if it didn’t start out that way. I don’t recall people saying ‘kiyah’ in that manner in actual martial arts or any real fights. The closest might be some grunts or shouts but not that exaggerated high-pitched sound. I’ve heard it on South Park from Randy though. And in modern times I’ve only heard it from Bruce Lee expys in video games like Liu Kang in Mortal Kombat or Law in Tekken. Also The Karate Kid franchise itself doesn’t do it as well outside of bully characters and once by Miyagi himself to reverse mock Terry Silver. They know it’s offensive. It’s honestly not the biggest deal to me but since ya’ll brought it up again, might as well comment on it again. If normies didn’t present themselves as PC I wouldn’t have brought it up at all in the first place, same way I don’t bat an eye when it’s on South Park. But ya’ll cringe everytime Michael Scott breathes so I found it jarring.

Veya

2 more castlevania episodes. than HARLEY QUINN

Steve Harvey Dent

None.

ispeckz--

But at what cost 😕

Jayla

It always surprised me that the arm yank didn't earn Miguel an instant DQ like Hawk got. But I guess it makes sense that they didn't want to go that route back to back. And then have it really affect Johnny more too since it was a win using those tactics.

Ailish

Cobra Kai never dies
