I’m confused as to why two animated shows are on this poll. Seems strange, especially when previous popular LA nominations like The Bear or Alice in Borderlands are nowhere to be found. I thought they’d long since divided up animation and live action? Regardless, there’s no use complaining about Harley Quinn. It’s in the clear lead and they’ll likely enjoy it even if most of us commenting will not. There’s always next time… but even then, I doubt Severance or Persons of Interest will ever get their time in the sun.

I suggested for years. In comments, then in the community tab where I got the response it would be on the "next poll" (no such poll existed and they just started watching Buffy instaed). Then about a year ago I asked a question in a Q and A and the answer I got sounded like it was going to be up next and then that also never happened, and now it isn't even on THIS poll. So in conclusion I don't think its ever gonna happen which is a shame because it would've been the perfect show to replace The Wire, you could argue it should've been watched before The Wire.

I stopped watching Succession after 4 episodes, i just didnt like any of the characters.Got bored of Harley Quinn,its just like every other comicbook anime show repetive, cool intro funny quips by Harley dangerous situation more funny quips and Harley wins again. 1899 was canceled after 1 season.Person of Interest is a network weekly crime show you know the bad guys get caught at the end of every show.Yellowjackets is on my watchlist.What We Do In The Shadows the movie was better than this average show,some good laughs but repetive.Archer is funny but tries too hard to be smart and edgy and its a loooong watch over 120 episodes.Black Mirror is only 5 episodes with no next season anytime soon.You just cant find a series like The Wire or Walking Dead or GOT every season, maybe some old school Hbo shows like Deadwood or Oz should be on a new poll. They really should watch it; it and the Wire are often cited as the best two shows ever. Not unanimously but often enough that if they knocked off one they should eventually get to the other. I'd bet a lot of reactors pick it up when season 2 drops especially if there's a lot of buzz. Sometimes it takes a sophomore effort succeeding to really break into the zeitgeist. It's one of the best new shows in years and Apple TV has a few things I really dig; their output is giving me vaguely early HBO prestige tv vibes with some of the chances they're taking.

I loved 1899 but it's hard for me to recommend a show canceled without an ending, seems cruel to inflict the pain I feel on others=/ Harley Quinn is a blast and also just makes for good reactions, I think; that being said, while it won't win, Severance is in my opinion one of the best new shows in years. Apple TV is giving me early HBO prestige tv vibes with their output, like the Deadwood Sopranos Carnivale Wire Rome days...Severance, Black Bird, Prehistoric Planet, Silo, even Foundation...some uneven stuff but a lot of interesting risks. Speaking of Deadwood, it's my fav show and I wish some reactors would try it=) I got Jimmy Macram to years ago but no one else haha This list is honestly stacked with some solid picks, I hope the Normies try several of them eventually

Severence is hugely overrated propped up by a very interesting premise. It has some thought-provoking moments and beats but the characters aren’t as nuanced and the finale was incredibly disappointing after a strong build up. They need to take a lesson from Breaking Bad on how to roll the momentum forward and not stall it just for the sake of cliffhanger and delayed payoff. Succession is a very strong character drama with a very shakespearean undercurrent and one of the greatest of all time. All that said, i would rather severence win than harley quinn. Another cartoon and apparently pretty long.

While I really enjoy Harley Quinn, I think Succession just has to be the pick here. I think it is one of the best shows of all time. It is an important part of that HBO group of all time greats like The Wire, The Sopranos, Band of Brothers, and Chernobyl.
