Even though there not doing filler episode the only good part of this story is the ikkaku episode.

Then again, I was disappointed with a LOT of things involving Orihime. 😛 Even though you can compare her to Sakura in terms of plot-relevance, and the fact that they're both healers, as a character, the more accurate comparison is to Hinata. (Which is why they're voiced by the same person in the dub.) Both these characters are not suited for fighting, personality-wise, but are forced into conflict through dire circumstances, and, at a certain point, wish to become stronger in order to fight alongside the boy they're crushin' on. I get the idea that they're just not cut out for this life, and that can certainly be compelling...but in a shonen anime, that usually just means you're gonna' get shoved into irrelevance real quick; unless you simp for the main character, in which case that will become the core of your identity. I think Orihime is less a victim of this than Hinata, since Orihime is more of a central character. Still, at this point, I had been just as disappointed in Orihime's lack of prowess as I had been with Hinata's.

2023-10-04 20:03:05 +0000 UTCRoka Paramia is the woman who Yammy kills. In one of the Bleach light novels she plays a bit more of a role. Also her death was censored in the anime (get used to that), in the manga Yammy slams his fist on her head, crushing it.
