As a Korean-American dude, I can understand why Danny refused the money because it came from his ex’s husband. Korean guys have a lot of pride and are stubborn as hell so he would rather starve than take a hand out from this guy. Also the other guy is the English/Youth pastor at the church which is like a really prestigious position in the community so he already feels less than him (that’s why he was trying to talk himself up). I feel like that’s why he took the “wrong path” like Rana was saying because he feels like he’s tried everything the right way and these people still look down on him (Amy, Pastor guy). Doesn’t make him any less of a scumbag but just my two cents on why he did it.

Definitely one of the best episodes of Season 5. Dwight grabbing the compound bow at the end was during the time frame where Jim was gathering his weapons. I don’t know why they decided to show that at the end instead of like the Superfan version where it’s all in one scene.
