Just a clarification about the Buffy/Angel/Riley fight: Riley knew she was going to see Angel in L.A., the only thing he found out about from Xander at the beginning of the episode was that Angel lost his soul before because he had sex with Buffy. That's why his jealousy seemed unreasonable to a lot of people; he wasn't that jealous before that, and the fact that he thought Angel fighting him was a sign that she had cheated...

You get the feeling its more that, any girl he hooks up can't really handle the life he is in. Poor Giles, needs a nice wiccan or something back home.

2023-08-28 15:20:50 +0000 UTCWell she definitely doesn’t like him enough to watch his spin-off which I’ve yet to come across a Buffy reactor that didn’t watch Angel. Marketta is one of the more level-headed reactors so it is surprising she would dislike Angel. Minus of course the curse that he has no control over, Angel was a decent boyfriend. He’s calm, laid back, not insecure, and was loving to Buffy. In comparison to the other guys on the show and what we’ve seen so far, I would date Angel any day. Xander has cheating tendencies and too judgmental of others. He would end up with me hitting him over the head with a skillet. Giles has commitment issues. And oh goodness Spike…his being a vampire is the least of his problems. Spike is all about Spike and his own needs. He’s unpredictable and toxic. No thanks. As far as decent partners…Angel and Tara are my #1s.

2023-08-27 19:48:42 +0000 UTCi wouldnt call that jealousy, i'd call it mistrust. not being transparent will lead to mistrust which can foster into a bigger issue in the relationship. vs jealousy is a personal issue that the jealous person has to address and heal within themselves. ex: one of my exes disappeared for three days with no warning. we usually talk everyday and then out of no where no calls, no emails and he didnt answer any of my calls. monday comes and he calls me like nothing happened, as if its just a normal day. his excuse? "it was my birthday weekend and me and my girlfriends decided it would be just us and no boys allowed" and he felt he didnt need to tell me this before hand and totally ignored my feelings, like i couldnt get in contact with you dude. you could hurt or dead, like have some uncommon sense and know that you are loved dumb dumb. that whole situation (rather true or not) was SUS, especially when some his friends are his exes. and who needs to celebrate their birthday for 72 hours? ITS ONE DAY BRO! ugh flatscans. i could NEVER.......

I remember some disappointment in how everything wrapped up, and in school we was like "one episode?". To me it was funny how it everything played out.

He’s not wronged Buffy and shown plenty of times if she ever needs him, he’ll be there no questions asked. They care about one another beyond having a romantic relationship which is a good thing.
