Guys they literally explained that they split the movie reactions in two because it's taking the place of a TV show and not technically a movie reaction for the channel. I don’t mind that it’s late because things happen. Not a big deal. I don’t really understand the decision to break the movies up into pieces and stop mid movie and discuss or why there isn’t an option for people paying for the Patreon to watch the movies uncut. It does feel like they are stretching it out unnecessarily

1. People need to take it easy on the editor. You never know what other people have going on in life. 2. I understand the logic of breaking it up in parts due to it taking the slot of a tv show. What I don't get is did normies watch it in two halves? If they sat and watched the whole movie in one sitting wouldn't it have made sense to send the editor the full thing and have them edit both parts then instead of having them work on the second part at a later date?

Suraj and Mickey used to edit the videos waaay back in the day but they have a team of editors now. The editor that's working on this video doesn't even live in the US which is part of the reason why its taking so long.

They have one weekly movie reaction slot, they're watching these where they normally would watch a shorter show so it makes sense to split them. if you wanted them to be full reactions then they would need to take the spot of the weekly movie slot which would delay other movie reactions by a month. this is the best way to do it

For example yaboiroshi reacts to more shows and movies than any other reaction channel and somehow they are still able to get all their reactions and movie edits done on time. It’s even worse for them because they react to a bunch of stuff that comes out weekly so they have even less time to edit than the average reactor but they still find a way to get those edits done within the same day of their reaction or the next day with some of the highest editing quality I’ve seen from a reaction channel but maybe they’re just built different idk 🤷‍♂️

its because its replacing ted lasso as a weekly drop easier on the editor as splitting them up puts them closer to the runtime of a standard show they will be doing it for Karate Kids 1-3 before starting cobra kai. there was a post about it a while ago

These movies are taking TV show slots, so whoever is normally editing an episode of TV is now editing a whole movie instead, which is going to take much longer and be more taxing on that editor's schedule. They explained this, but I understand that reading comprehension is not a strong suit with most of the Normies' audience. By the way, you can still be mad, but you don't need to be ignorant.

From what I understand it is due to the editors' schedules. These movies are taking the place of TV show slots right now, which means it would take much longer to edit than it would just an episode of a TV show. Probably what should have been done would be to have the movies be in the movie slots instead, but then this TV show slot would be empty - or else they would need to do something else instead even though Cobra Kai is supposed to be next. No matter what, someone is surely going to complain.

Regardless of what’s happening with Karate Kid, you might wanna rethink the way y’all handle the next couple. I still don’t see why you can’t release the full movies (especially the sequels since they aren’t as good), especially given there are a solid chunk of Cobra Kai episodes and it’s gonna take you awhile to get through them. But it’s definitely a bit odd that a reaction that was filmed in one sitting (presumably) is split into two parts (which, ok, fine if it needs to be that way) but they’re edited separately.
