Except that's impossible. They have viewers from all over the world and what's streaming for free/at all and where is different for each location. The Thing may not be streaming for you in your country, but it is in others, and there are plenty of times it'll be the other way around.

The 2011 prequel was supposed to be mostly practical effects, but some studio execs or test audiences were like "why is there no cheap ass CGI in this", so they literally painted shitty, rushed effects over the already finished practicals.

This is like the ultimate paranoia movie, back in the era when movies had no interference in production from studios and the directors were also the writers John Carpenter does all his movie’s soundtracks, he wants them to be like wallpaper blending into the background and not distracting the audience (he’s also a huge gamer). All the effects aside from a few stop motion bits were totally practical without CGI and the guys working on them were total rookies in the industry Great discussion, love Navi and Suraj’s questions! You guys always do really fun and thoughtful breakdowns of the films you watch, appreciate you guys looking at the Wikipedia page to add to the discussion. Another Horror movie poll please!
