As someone that’s part of that community myself, my stance has always been to let people enjoy what they want to enjoy, I’m not going to force anyone to boycott anything that I do, and I don’t hold it against anyone for not. There’s other ways to be an ally than by being forced to all think exactly as I do. That’s dangerous ground, and a dangerous way to proceed, and one that many people and groups throughout history have done really bad things in the name of. While I personally hate Rowling and will never support her, I already own the movies and it’s no money outta my pocket and into hers by rewatching what I’ve already owned for decades, and I DO support the Normies, so I plan on continuing to give THEM my money by watching along with them. I fear you are missing the point of The Normies... they just want to watch fun shows/movies. They are not hardcore movie buffs that might find Tarantino's evolution as a filmmaker genuinely interesting. I mean, we can barely get them to stop talking over the films - and that's fine, because that is who they are. Some of them might continue to watch the rest of his films on their own, but they have FAR too many things on their plate as a group to do all of them - that's why they only watch the top 4 from their polls.

Consumer boycotts are generally dumb and don't work unless that boycott is extremely specific and regional. Bullying people over consumer behavior just turns people off to the cause that's being supported. People also lend themselves to being called hypocrites when taking stances like this. How many books in your life have you read that were created by horrible individuals? Do you still watch films created by awful human beings? How many children did it take through slave labor to build the technology you used to type your protest here? Pulp Fiction and other Tarantino films on the list were produced by Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein did objectively far worse things than Rowling (being punished by the legal system because of his actions) thus should they not watch any Tarantino films? Harry Potter didn't create those laws; politicians did. Stop projecting.

I notice those same folks never speak up about movies like Django or Inglorious Basterds - both making money for someone who is actually in jail for their crimes and not just a self-important pariah who can't seem to shut her mouth and keep her hateful misguided opinions to herself. Thank you for relaying your concern. We have made multiple statements in the past that while some of us belong to the LGBTQ+ community, we have always been strong allies. We have participated in protests and conversation that have been happening around us. While we do understand not supporting Harry Potter due to JK Rowling's stand, but we believe that we can benefit from actually having a conversation about this topic through these reactions and shed light to organizations that we and/or you can support that directly help LGBTQ communities. If we decide to not watch these movies completely then it will stop all types of conversation that could shed light on harmful practices/laws being enacted to harm LGBTQ+ community and steps that we as individuals can take to help.

when JK Rowling comes out and says publicly she feels supported in her views because she keeps getting big checks for her licensing agreements, then yes reacting to her movies is showing her support. Does that mean the Normies as people support her beliefs? No. Of course not. But they will still be showing her support when they do those reactions, per her beliefs about how she feels supported. And that's the choice they need to make. If you don't want to support JK Rowling and her views, then don't do the things she finds supportive. Not watching Harry Potter isn't really all that hard. Even if fans vote for it.
