I'd say yeah, Suraj, that part of Angel is still very much there as Angelus, basically Angel without remorse or capacity to grow as a person. Chris, the difference between these vampires and the True Blood vampires is not that big. In the Buffyverse, the soul is used as a loose term meaning inherent goodness. The mirror/cameras issue definitely goes against the laws of physics, but it's an established part of the canon, so yeah.
