The only spoiler in that whole OP had to do with the reveal of captain Kuchiki's Bankai but you've already seen the full extent of it when he fought Renji. But the Unit 03 was inactive until they put a plug in, They cannot activate without a dummy plug acting as the brain of the machine, So once they activated it with the boy inside, the angel over-rode the machine and took control.

The anime did that on its own and the fans prey on it. Yoruichi clearly sees Soi Fon as a lil sister. Soi fon could be more than admiration but much of it probably admiration to the extreme degree and she worships Yoruichi, almost to a fanatic level. Much like a younger sister who looks up to her big sister alot. And yeah, the good and bad thing about Bleach is that their "main cast" of characters dont seem to get much good action other than Ichigo. I say its good and bad because it doesnt do well if u get attach to those characters but I love the captains and other side characters are all goated af so i dont mind it.

That means we can spotlight these other characters who haven't had time to shine yet!" But if you don't care about that, there's nothing for it. The point of this whole section is to introduce the interpersonal drama and power-sets of all these new characters, before the s#@* goes down. I AM happy to know (from what Rana and Suraj say) that y'all were appropriately gobsmacked when the s#@* does go down. ...Oh. And yeah, Kubo does quite a bit of queer-coding with several female characters; whether intentionally or on accident. MANY fans are frustrated by Yoruichi and Soi Fon. 😆

My understanding is they watched two episodes last week, and their editor didn't get the second episode finished in time. If any of the Normies would want, I’d be down to see some Bleach Manga Read-Alongs up until the last arc since TYBW actually has Kubo being heavily involved in the anime’s production.

However we know they have schedules to stick to for their other anime/series they react to and of course their own lives. They do not work 24/7. So often it can take a bit before they pay forward said triple drop, in situations like this. Have patience. It could be that they want to, but without jeopardizing their other schedules otherwise they just trading fans to upset. They've earned the good faith, to be given a bit of breathing room.

Soifon hates Yoruichi for leaving out of nowhere and Mai hates Maki for that exact same reason, the difference in the writing between the two is that Mai wanted Maki to stay in the clan with her while Soifon wanted to follow Yoruichi wherever she went. Loved seeing Yoruichi's first fight in the show, one of my absolute favorite characters for sure!

If it's not worth watching unless there's a group of 4 episodes then the pacing must be abysmal. Also, I'm saying this as someone that doesn't have anything against Bleach. While I haven't watched the anime, I've read about 1/3 of the manga and enjoyed it a lot.

Thats why her leaving also hit harder than just an older sister leaving. Yoruichi favored Soifon like a sibling but her leaving felt almost like a romantic rejection to Soifon topped with Soifon's need to be stronger than anyone else and you get her feelings in this fight.

2023-07-12 16:08:14 +0000 UTCIs it really entitlement though? Typically, when you pay for a product or service, when it's late it's late, but you still receive it, or else there's a refund. If they're paying for two episodes a week, and one run's late, you sort of expect to get it later in the week when it's available... at least that makes sense to me. I'm sure there are many here paying for one particular show or feature. Sure things happen, but you sort of expect them to make up for those "things" when possible, rather than ignore the customer... just my opinion. It doesn't really bother me when reactors lose audio, or something came up and they have to record later, or edit later... I can respect their time and effort because they usually do their best to make up for it. Not seeing that here I guess, although I haven't been following all the discussions surrounding it.
