This comment makes no sense YG, by the time *this* hits Youtube, they'll be so far along on Patreon that the climax next episode will be weeks if not months old. No one has to wait a week in that scenario except Youtubers who don't pay for Patreon, which is the way it is now anyway.

Two quick points that might be useful to keep in mind as you watch the next few episodes: 1. Adoption in Japanese culture is different from almost every other culture. Adult adoption for example, can include adopting a son-in-law into the family and is common for families without male heirs, looking to keep a business in their family name. So the adoptee can marry the daughter of the adopted parents. And it is also not a light decision, as the family name and even head status can be passed down to the adoptee. 2. There are a number of throwaway lines that gain new context in retrospect, sometimes after a long interval. It may reveal relationships between side characters. Sometimes the subtle style of dialogue between characters reveals their opinion of each other's power scale. It would be fun to see if you can catch the setups and the payoffs. I also like to make a list of questions I hope the story will answer and see if it happens. Like in Naruto, you wanted to see the land of the summoned frogs, Hashirama's story, his fight with Madara, the sage of six paths, etc. long before it happened. It may be fun to see how many of your questions are answered and how long it takes to get there.

So with the revelation of Yamamoto's Zanpakto I think I will be giving some trivia on old man Yama. His Zanpakto, Ryujin Jakka, translates to Flowing Blade Young Flame and its release phrase is changed in the dub. In the dub it is 'All things in the universe turn to ashes' presented as a neutral statement about the advance of time against the power of flame. In the sub it is 'Reduce all creation to ash' basically commanding Ryujin Jakka to destroy it all. Yamamoto's theme song, as Tite Kubo gave all his characters theme songs from actual songs, is 'Mars, the Bringer of War' the first movement in the classical orchestra 'The Planets'. Tite Kubo also released stat sheets where every character's skills were ranked out of 100 and Yamamoto got 100/100 for every category except for physical strength where he got a 60/100. He truly is the strongest Soul Reaper to ever be born.

Yall are absolutely ridiculous. 15 shows on the docket and you're up in arms because ONE of those 15 didn't get double dropped. Even if you ignore the fact that it was coming off of a federal holiday, even if you ignore the fact that it was communicated to you (but apparently not "soon enough" for some people) - the whole "I only pay for Bleach [Naruto in the past]" argument doesn't work. I'd like to make a few points based on the discussions I've seen here: 1) I don't think it's fair to compare Patreon to subscription services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. Those are run by massive corporations and advertise themselves as subscription services. Patreon has and continues to primarily be a way to support creators you enjoy so that they can keep creating and focus on creating rather than being forced to work other jobs for their living, which would take away from them taking time to make content you are so invested in that a video coming out a week later than expected causes you to be this upset. You are not paying specifically for early access, that is a bonus perk. You are paying to keep the people whose content you enjoy afloat so they can keep doing it. Shift your perspective on this. 2) If you can't shift your perspective as above and are disappointed with what is being delivered, you are more than free to walk away at any time. You aren't being held hostage here. If I have a bad experience at a restaurant, for example, I'm not going to go back. But you guys are still here despite all your complaints, which tells me they must be delivering some really good stuff that you really enjoy, in which case you should be able and willing to wait one extra week, it shouldn't be a huge deal.

The motivations of the captains is pretty straightforward if you just think about it. Ukitake is literally Rukia’s captain and Shunsui is his friend so of course he’s going help him out. Others such as Toshiro and Unohana can sense something isn’t right about Rukia’s execution. Literally just pay attention cause it’s all there 😭💀

When I first watched this episode, the fan-sub I was watching translated Yamamoto's release command as "Reduce all of creation to smoldering ashes; Ryujin Jakka!" To me, the line in the dub - AND the official sub - makes it sound more like he's just saying "Stuff can burn real good!" rather than giving a specific command to his sword. Anyone agree? I know the couch crew has gotten to the big reveal. Are they still confused about the whole release command thing with zanpakuto? 'Cause the earlier seasons were a little inconsistent with it.
